Agree. It would be easy to call her out, but the podcast would have been over in 10 minutes, and Daniel won’t get legit professionals in if he’s disrespectful or laughing at (rather than with) them. But she knew coming on that she could be ridiculed. Unfortunately for her, she was overly confident in her notable quick wit that she could hold her own with Daniel. Not many will win that; now does she have the humility to acknowledge that he had his kid gloves on? I bet not, but she will have gotten what she wanted out of this: exposure, engagement, clicks. Everyone’s a winner. Media in 2023. (Please don’t ask me why I care enough to write this dissertation. I have no idea)
