Quick tip: run a sampo ball bearing swivel straight to the flasher. No need for a bead chain and leader to the flasher.

I will try it. I wedged half a jelly fish in there before and ended up with line twists so I opted for another swivel in the line up. That was a pretty wicked hook up with your finger! Hope that heals ok! Cheers

I add a golf tee above the swivels to cut down on debris gumming them up. What tide sequence do you like the incoming or out going, slack or couple hours before either?

@@shawngreninger3404 shoot that’s a good idea! Thanks. For 11, it seems the best fishing for me at least, is right after a low tide’s slack tide. 1.5 hours into the incoming tide.

In your experience does herring scent work comparably to actual herring strips.

Hey Natty, it seems herring strips still out produce scent for me. That being said, scent is better than no scent!

I do believe the leds help out with getting a fish’s attention. As for the echip… I’m on the fence. I don’t see a huge difference but they don’t hurt that’s for sure.
