opponents doing 5% less spell damage is ALOT stronger than 7% magic resistance, because it applies before magic resistance. that 5% reduction is really multiplying the already very high magic resistance AM has.

Reducing Spell damage in an AoE around you depends on what your opponents might build. It has potential of being 30% damage reduction that affects all spells despite their damage type and not just magical. Unfortunately, for around 4 late points into agi tree... still sucks. Damage avoid miss is better

10:30 this argument that its bad because you use counterspell offensively instead of defensivly ignores the start of a fight where someone will likely cast a spell at you as a fight begins to get the cd ticking (with the exception of tb in lobby). So at the start of the fight you can reflect a spell while also using it offensively. after that youll be spamming it anyway in fights so you may end up reflecting something by chance, i know in the past you have bounced back your own spells while playing against this when they were spamming. I dont disagree that its bad, i only have issue with your argument
