Speed paints 2.0 work well with new fanatics paint line. I use speeds paints as a quick base color then add fanatics as layers and blending highlights

Do you mean there are correspondances between the SpeedPaint 2.0 and Fanatic lines? Let's say I use "Familiar Pink" as a base color, is there one Fanatic color I should use as a highlight? It's only an example, but a speedpaint - highlight chart would be great. (I tend to think speedpaints are great but sometimes lack highlight, even with slapchop method)

@antoinevanvooren2442 Speed paints 2.0 does lack the highlights. Yes they have some brighter colors but the watery texture prevents you from using them as highlights. You need a thicker viscosity from fanatics to use them properly on your brush

@@antoinevanvooren2442 there isn't a common naming convention between the two lines but it isn't difficult to determine which fanatic paints will work well as edge highlights for speedpaints.

I bought myself some speedpaint armypaint Metallics. The instructions for them say that it is better to paint on a flat white primer. but I'm already used to a black base primer with white at the angled view from the top and at the top. Does it make sense to switch to pure white primer for speedpaint armypaint?
