ALLJArt I say good luck, the really good artist think there’s no market for it, that or they’re spoiled with tablets and gizmos lol, I have an art style that I formed from well whatever I drew in the past and I can’t see myself copying anyone’s style anymore, my big project that has been in pre production for the decade I’ve been animating will be hand drawn characters with 3D stylized backgrounds that resemble 2D which I suck at perspective and I can’t really do it justice on paper so a 3D plane feels right and could easily make the 2D figures work well with the right camera angles, also it’s still in pre production is I’m passionate about it that I want it to feel right, look right and sound right, I want the story to be good maybe even great (the story is written I’m just writing season 1 scripts) and with that story the art style deserves as much attention. My hand drawing is WAY WAY better than my digital 2D crap and I use both to my advantage because I can make those hand drawn pics cleaner and finished instead of hand coloring (which is worse than anything in my life I can do with art lol) and add my 3D experience by making simple houses inside and out with simple shapes and stylize them with hand drawn textures to look 2D, sounds ambitious and hard, that’s because I discovered this idea recently and feel it’ll be so much better to do it that way, not to mention it’s not meant to be like everyone else or trendy, it’s supposed to me meaningful and cared about and rushing it out there will ruin all the work I put into the characters and story. I want it to look good in my eyes and hope others can see it, they can’t see the passion and hard work if it looks cheesy like my mouse animations or even my animations on my Nuisance Films Animations channel they are all learning projects on my iPad and they are rushed and I can’t stand to use it for animation at this point so it’s best not to use it for that project but rather smaller projects to go into the main project. I want all animators to do it for the passion not the trends, the fame, the glory, or the money, otherwise we get Disney Co, Cartoon Network, and Nickelodeon... modern of course. Sorry for this book, but it feels nice to share a topic so meaningful to those who can understand the delicate nature of animating and passion projects.

Fun fact I learned with a mouse for digital, then a regular pen tablet so I’m sticking to that. I draw on paper better than digitally if you compare from iPad vs paper.

Hey Jazza I just wanted to say that you always inspire me! When I was 12 I loved to draw, but I always let myself down by thinking that my art is bad, horrible, ugly etc. I wanted to quit and do something else even if drawing made me happy. Now a year has passed after I found your youtube channel and I can say that it has changed me for the better! I stopped shaming my art and myself, I started to draw even more than usual, i'm having more fun drawing than I ever have before, drawing even helped me branch out to other things, like writing and acting. This is all because of you! Every video that you make, makes me happy and helped me get out of my shell in a way. I just wanted to say..thank you. Keep making great videos!
