Why monitor your heart rate, just let it do its own thing. Monitoring your heart rate whilst out on your walkabout only highlights your anxiety. Try to listen to the sounds and the birds, focusing on something else other than your heart rate may reduce your anxiety. Whilst on your walkabout try to stop walking and spend a few minutes trying to take in the environment and try to sense that nothing is going to hurt you

I did it as my therapist asked me to. He wanted to see connections between my heart and brain i think. I am just doing as ive been asked to do.

@@AspieNeil although your therapist will suggest you to do lots of things, it is you that makes the decision only you can control your own mind
