Dan, I often think of the time we were at a party in high school. Neither of us drank, and everyone else was drinking so we left. We decided to TP someone’s house (not going to name anyone), so you drove us to Food Lion. We got TP and eggs at like midnight (very suspicious), TP’d the house and had a blast. We later realized the guy had moved and we had TP’d a random house. I still laugh about that to this day, close to twenty years later. I wish you peace Dan. Matt Hardison

Dr. Dan You have accomplished so much in your life. More than so many around you. In spite of the challenges you faced throughout your life experiences you prevailed. Now, as you clearly are talking to your children, you are making your mark on so many of us as you do with them. I am 71 years old and can’t express how deeply i am impacted by your story. You have achieved so much against so many odds. Now you face what no one can conquer. Yet you are slapping that disease in the face by telling your story and how you overcame those setbacks in your life. What stand out are the victories you have lived through achieving your education, love choice, career choice, and the blessing of children. You have achieved more in life than so many who live longer lives with less life achievements. You are memorable, Dr. Dan. You are rich with your depth of understanding and you ability to share it with others. Thank you for having the strength to share your very personal story with us all. I salute you sir. I have great respect for you and affection for you. I consider you a friend. A brave friend. I’m glad our paths have crossed. Thank you.

Dr. Dan, I just wanted to say thank you for sharing your knowledge, wisdom, and being a mentor to many others in this channel including myself.
