Can you make a bonsai out of an avocado tree planted from an avocado seed from a store bought fruit? Yes! I am Showing the growth, and caring for my 5 year old avocado bonsai. Transition into a smaller pot, while doing some root pruning. It's time for a repot!

Im glad that you asked! I actually started another avocado bonsai in it. I had one that I was working on a little bit, in a normal pot. I was gonna show that in this video too, but the video was getting too long. I will post a separate video about the new bonsai later 😊.

The top of it keeps turning black and dying back. Also the leaves don’t look very healthy. Looks like maybe root rot but I repotted it and the roots look ok. 🤷🏻‍♀️

@linda-currently-intexas9898 sounds like root rot when that happens. If it’s turning black it’s really far gone im afraid 😭.
