I just canceled my prusa order. I love prusa, and i hope they’ll add a comparable device soon (for a higher price - which is absolutely ok because it isn’t build in china), but buying a current prusa, seeing the P1P veels like buying a (ultra reliable) 90 mercedes benz for the price of a tesla plaid…

The carbon fiber rails are used for higher speeds. When the toolhead changes direction rapidly, the inertia is reduced quite a bit by CF; a lightweight material. I don't have the P1P's I have 4) X1c machines and I'm literally selling all of my other machines (FLSun, Creality etc.) I'm sure they will eventually come out with a larger printer, but they were a kickstarter, and the smart move was to start the much cheaper P1P's. to attract a larger base. I'm keeping my Prusa Mk3s but just for nostalgia lol

@@LilApe sorry but as a matter of fact voron 2.4 actually can not maintain same level of details on same speed and acceleration with input shaper enabled. It smoothed out the details and result is not even close to what 1p1 does from factory. And that is considering voron 2.4 is more like 1500$ not 699$… and that result is true for many pro users across the the web. 1p1 just has better vibration compensation system and had better motion system even though it is same type - May be CF lightness is a part of it. Google there is even a video on voron vs flsun vs x1c

Another great video sir! I have the X1 Carbon with the AMS. I order it the minute it went on pre order to the public. I have 1100 hours of printing on it and it's working great. The only issue I had so far was the coupler broke on the extruder holding the PTFE tube. I was able to still print, but I ordered a new extruder and was back up to 100% in no time.

I bought an X1C because after 10 years I’m done with fiddling with bed leveling and extruder tuning and whatnot and just wanted something that would work. It’s not quite at the appliance level yet, but it’s sooooo much better than my other printers (Prusa, Elegoo, Creality, Printerbot) that I’m loving it. I could probably tune things and make it even better, but just with the defaults it’s doing a great job and produces fantastic output.

As you know I bought the X1 Carbon a while back and I'm loving it. I sell a switch for swapping over from laser flat to rotary and with X1 Carbon what used to take me 2 Hours on my Tevo Tornado now takes me 34 minutes to print. The only issue I had is that the AMS doesn't seem to like cardboard spools so I printed out some spool inserts that let it run better. Also, people say the cardboard sheds into the AMS if you don't use spool edge adapters.

There are some brands with cardboard spools that work fine, for the other we rip the sides off of our cardboard spools then put them on the Bambu Plastic spools. Just have to be careful not to let the spool unravel.

I got my P1P a couple of days ago (whilst waiting for BambuLab to have European stock of the X1C). And to be quite honest, with the amount it rattles about on the pre-sliced Benchy, I have no idea how it creates clean prints. I feel as if they have defied physics somehow. So far all good

I have had my P1P for about two months now. I absolutely love it. I have not printed TPU yet. I’m curious what your settings are. I have an ender 3S one pro and a Prusa MK3 that I spent too month building last year. I honestly can’t say I have not touched the end or in fact, I’m going to give it away and the Prusa very little use.

Cut to the chase and invest in the X1C Combo. No other printer, including the P1P, come close to it's ability to handle just about any print job you'll come across right out of the box. PLA, ABS, ASA, Nylons, CF's will all work and work consistently well.

9:36 There shouldn't really be wear, it's more that the graphite of the bushing inserts is going to slowly rub off, and you'll get some graphite dust on the rods.

Funny thing is, even the YTer who speak "bad" about the bambulab printers, use them a lot from what i can see on the videos ... (reference: Nero 3D) The machines are great and i love my carbon X1 with AMS !!!

I can't wait for what the future brings in 3D printing. I think we're on the cusp of massive technological capability updates in the next two years, multicolor nozzles so we don't have to constantly changing reels, speed enhancements, etc. I know how thorough you are and methodical in your processes and observations...keep up the content! Lol, now I know the machine my DJI Mic holder was printed on. I've had some lifting issues with my X2 that annoy the crap out of me...gotta figure that out, paste is at 60C and adhere well for thinner objects, but thicker items that build taller end up warping.

have you noticed any strength differences in the p1p prints compared to the ender/artillery? My biggest concern with faster printing is possibly reducing tensile strength of a model but not a lot of info on this for the p1p

how do you deal with warping on the p1p? i printed the ams adapters and for some reason the corners lifted a bit and i also have the aux fan as well.

are you sure you've set the build plate correctly? It needs to be set to PEI, or else the bed temp will only be 35c for PLA

@@morbus5726 yeah with the p1p it is set to pei automatically and my temp always reaches 60 to 65. i always pay attention to that but after reading some posts on facebook groups i guess printing pla with the aux fan is a no go. The aux fan has to be off do to warping. i am not even sure why they gave it to us as a gift if it was pointless for pla if this printer is basically a pla petg workhorse. i guess i have to turn it off everytime i print in the app since i dont want to take off all the screws in the back to unplug it lol

X1 doesn’t come with a Aux fan, also materials I print do not need a closed space. We print TPU which needs cooling

Hey bro , so I’ve just seen someone else’s video stating they were having a problem with uploading the files from the slicer to the printer ? Like it took him half an hour and still wasn’t loading . Wasn’t sure if it was a connection problem. Did you encounter any issues like that ? I’m expecting my P1p in a couple weeks time . Or is there any problems to encounter ?

Nope haven’t had any issues takes about 5 mins from upload to the printer unzipping the files and starting the job

I bought a Snapmaker F350 a month before my first of 3 X1C's last December. It's been collecting dust ever since the X1C arrived. When and if the Dual Extruder for the Snapmaker comes in, I'll probably play with it again, but I honestly wish I'd of spent that money on a Bambu printer. And I've had an issue with the F350's Y axis overheating and gradually losing it's home, causing the prints to shift. After over 2 months of trying to get some help from their customer assistance, it's still not been fixed. It's only been in the past 2 weeks that they even got back to me. I wouldn't recommend a Snapmaker to anyone.
