Nice. Which albums? If you go to the site, "All Albums" and search the word "Drone" you might find some good sleep albums.

no plans too, it would be too complicated dealing with everyone on it to get everyone's permission to sell it and it would make almost no money, I haven't talked to some of them in 20 years. You're welcome to download and enjoy though. Fun fact: guitarist David Immergluck is in Counting Crows. Michael Urbano played with Smashmouth, Cheryl Crow, and Cracker.

Been making and disseminating music since 1981, when I was 17, I made a tape of synth and found sound and guitar music using my college radio voiceover studio. Didn't have a synth, went into music store and recorded one on cassette. Put it all together and tried to sell it as "meditation music" in an ad in the back of Rolling Stone magazine. I sold exactly 3 copies. It's called the Solstice Suite and it's now free download on my blog that's named like my full name. I only still had it because when I made it, I made copies for my family. In about 2012 I saw it at my sister's house and borrowed it to digitize.

Well, Slish was the final straw for me of "art by committee." I hate it. (I already hated it after Bomb, have you read my article last year about that band? It's called "Bomb's first two (and best) albums: To Elvis In Hell and Hits of Acid Plus, how Bomb got kicked off of Warner Brothers By Michael W. Dean of Bomb (December 2023)" if you want to google it.) After Slish I started playing with recording software in my room in 1997, and it evolved from there. BipTunia's first 8 or so albums had spoken word and were not microtonal. Then discovered microtonal was possible with normal keyboard, without building physical instruments. so did some microtonal stuff with my poet friend from college. After the 38th BipTunia album, guy who was doing the spoken word flipped out and quit without saying goodbye, no explanation, then vanished. ("art by committee.") So I kept doing Slish myself, doing a little spoken word (and occasionally singing) myself, then just morphed into all instrumental. Sometimes microtonal, sometimes not. Working on album 92 now.

Mike Dean from the band, "Bomb ",? Sounds like his voice

Michael Dean, yeah, that's me. I sing about half this album. Slish had two lead singers / writers. We'd sing lead on our own songs, and the other guy would sing harmony. The other guy, Bean, played bass for Helios Creed on 2 of his best (in my opinion) albums.

We played a few small shows in San Francisco. Never heard of Unwound until just now. My current project is called BipTunia, my band before Slish was Bomb, both are on my KZbin channel.
