Im all about having a big arsenal good work. Didnt see your marauder craws, flipping hooks, and tungsten flipping weights. Those are a must have even in our waters.
@ReelNorthernBass4 жыл бұрын
Oh I have them, they were in the Green/Brown Craw box. 😉 Tungsten weights were in one of the small cases in front of my spinnerbait box. I don't have proper flipping hooks yet though, haven't really NEEDED them yet. I have a ton of EWG hooks leftover that I've been able to make work, so I've been using those til I run out. I don't break off when flipping that often though, so it's taking awhile to get through them. Don't you worry, I do plenty of flipping/pitching during the summer months.

@@ReelNorthernBass I knew you had them just checking ;) I just like the action of the hook when snelled how it kicks out. But im in a kayak so its different. Caught giants last year it.

Thanks Brett, much appreciated! Is it weird I'm also looking forward to doing the rod arsenal video? 😂 I haven't had this much new gear...well, ever. I'm very lucky to have the opportunities that I do have that made this happen.

603Bass not weird at all! I’m just wondering what you’re doing with those old mojo bass rods now that you’re a lews guy 😏

Great job man. I do almost the exact same thing. My boat is so organized its it's ridiculous...got to reorganize it for open water though!!
@ReelNorthernBass4 жыл бұрын
Thanks Bill! Feels good to have it all organized again. I bought sooo much stuff the last few months of last season, and didn't organize it along the way because I didn't have the room...it got out of hand, lol. Now it's 99% organized (still need a home for the hair jigs) and it's nice to be able to easily find everything I have.

Nice tackle store ya got there haha my goal this year is to get into jigs.. I see everyone catching megas on jigs. I mostly throw Texas rig creature baits don’t see how they can be much different..hey how’d the guide exam go!??
@ReelNorthernBass4 жыл бұрын
You're right, they're pretty much the same in how you fish them! Though I typically go a little slower with the jig. 😉 And I failed, lol. I can laugh about it now but daaamn was I upset about it that day. I messed up something in map & compassing, they don't tell you what, you just have certain portions for testing and each one is pass/fail. If you fail any portion, you can't move on to the next portion. I'm scheduled for my next attempt in August.
@garyeplinglll4 жыл бұрын
603Bass aww man that sucks. But at least you know how the test is setup and how it’s laid out and you can study a little more on the sections you failed and friggen go kill it in August. I was hoping to pay you for a trip out. But ide love to be your coangler anytime tho free of charge 🤗 I think me and you could get some serious meat on deck
