We appreciate the Badass review brother! We are pleased to hear you're enjoying the Gold Series Shaping Scissors and all that is included with them. It was great to hear Drama was equally impressed :)

Thanks for the info. I like how you'll outsource for professional information. I wish he would have shown us the 1300 buck shears.

Drama has been cutting my hair for almost a year now, best barber in town. He recently trimmed and shaped my beard that i grew out for a year, he did such a great job and not taking off too much and made it look well kept. As long as he keeps cutting i'll keep going to him.

I have these same exact pair. I use them on my hair to trim and my beard. I accidentally cut my ear open with them. They are extremely sharp!!

BABC really has great products. I haven’t bought any shears yet, however those are pretty sweet. How about German vs Japanese steel?

I was under the impression that the blades on a pair of scissors were supposed to be slightly bowed so that there is only ever one point of contact between them right where the blades overlap as you cut?

I am pretty much set on a pair of BABC shears. The only thing I can't find much info on are those shears that have micro serrations in the blades. I understand the purpose of those serrations but not sure why they don't seem to be more common. Any downside to them, perhaps harder to sharpen/honing?

i just looked up the difference between scissors and shears and it seems like those are scissors, not shears. The Difference Between Scissors & Shears Scissors have symmetrical, equally sized finger holes and are generally under 6" in blade length, while shears have one smaller finger hole and one larger finger hole and are more than 6" in blade length.
