@@HeyFelicia I hear what you are saying. I just wish there would be substance behind why as Africans we should get along rather than the lottery of us being black and in the African continent. I wish we as Africans were like minded but the fact is we are not. We are all pulling in different directions like headless chicken. The fact is Felicia, other than us looking similar. We are different and we don't have similar aspirations.
@HeyFelicia
@HeyFelicia 2 жыл бұрын
This is very true Ron.At least the very common thing we all have is the fact that,we are black and found on the same continent. We don’t have to fight or feel better than others because things seem to be well with us. Imagine if we all coexisted in harmony despite having different aspirations!!! Africa would go a long way.
@ronm4385
@ronm4385 2 жыл бұрын
@@HeyFelicia not sure I understand you clearly but if you are suggesting I have a superiority complex simply because of the lottery of being South African you are wrong. South Africa owes its stature today because of migrants from all across the entire Southern African Region who helped build South Africa to what it is today. So how can I suddenly look down to these Nations whose shoulders South Africa stands upon? Migrants are not a new phenomenon in South Africa. Migrants have been coming down South even during the dark days of apartheid. The difference is that the few that came were hard working law abiding. Also the government of the time was not playing games and pretty much everyone knew where they stood. We welcome Africans from all walks of life as long as their intentions are pure. I mean look at you for instance, you came to South Africa through the right channels, respected our laws from when you set foot at OR Tambo Airport and went back to your country at an agreed upon timeline. Thank you so much for respecting yourself first and then South Africa enough to act in such an examplary manner. I am sure I don't need to go to detail about what your neighbours to the East do when they are here. Not all of them of course but their presence in South Africa is not felt in a good way and we will never stop talking about it till they change their ways or simply leave us alone and go cause trouble elsewhere.

@@HeyFelicia it was probably how that particular person or restaurant prepared it and it could easily have been a foreign restaurant. We definitely don't eat hard rice here though, that person doesn't know how to cook, it was undercooked
