Who will be the care taker of that property and how many of them will pay rent for the Government? These buildings weren't originally built for Ghanaian's or any other refugees to take over. The buildings were built as part of the Mitchell-Lama program for working New Yorkers to have affordable housing. There were strict requirements stating applicants had to be employed and be current residents of New York to be offered an apartment. How a group of people that most likely aren't even U. S. citizens got apartments there is crazy.
