my ex wife was stationed in Pearl Harbor, I lived with her for a while there. Let me tell you, I did NOT believe her when she said a gallon of milk was $10, it surely was. Hawaii is absolutely beautiful and it has sooo much to offer but it’s INSANELY expensive. And honestly, after a while, you get kind of bored of it. Oahu is a relatively small island and once you’ve done a lot of the different things it has to offer, you get tired of it. But I would 100000% recommend visiting Hawaii at least once, just remember to be respectful of the culture and its people. I love your videos!

You have to be one of the most charismatic people on KZbin. The way you discuss the topics, you could tell a story about your first time a fly landed on your burger at a picnic & I’d still laugh ass off. The stories of your deployments to all of these countries is one of the things I wish I joined the Navy over the Air Force back in ‘98. I loved my time in & while I lived overseas and saw a couple of different countries in Europe, you being all over the world is pretty damn cool. Plus unless I missed one of the videos, you weren’t in the middle of damn nowhere.

Lol, I was born and raised in Norfolk. I understand why people hate it, but I didn’t mind growing up there. If you can make it all the way down to OBX North Carolina, that place is pretty fun, but it takes an hour or so by car.

I am an ABH as well and my first visit was Bahrain, nice locals, prices are very reasonable, uber is like 3 bucks, but I like it alot

Best: Naples, Italy. Took a 3 day tour to Rome and Florence. Scotland was a close second. Got to see all the awesome Castles. Worst: El Salvador. Outside of the police escort to the bars. It sucked Old: Panama. My first ship and deployments. We pulled in there every other week. Pros use US currency. Cons nightlife was sort of lackluster. Not much to do really same 3 things. Mall, Casino, Brothel, and people always getting ripped off on Tattoos. We got to go to a whole bunch of other places to party while on deployment. Cabo, Matizilan, Amesterdam (Avoid the Blue Light window shopping. Some shipmates learned the hard way.) Few Places in Greece were awesome. There was a place I can’t for the life of me remember but it was the Largest nightclub in the world. None of us went to it because we were all trashed because the humongous strip mall of bars sat right in front of it. I want to say it was a place in Spain I really don’t remember. I mean this place put New Orleans to shame.

Tigers pacing in their cage is a stress response due to their confinement, and the behavior isnt exclusive to tigers. If you see a wild animal doing that in their cage, rest assured its because they dont have enough space and theyre actively losing their mind over it

Norfolk is an interesting place. Norfolk PROPER isn't anything to write home about (except the HUGE NEX on NOB). But go to Virginia Beach and I could live there with no problem. It is interesting to me because when I was stationed in Norfolk in the late '70s, sailors had to go to the beach in the summer just to get laid. The vacation girls loved the sailors. Locals were military brats and no way were you getting any of that. Their fathers made sure of it. Oceana and Dam Neck were out in the boonies surrounded by pig farms. Now it is totally developed and has anything you are looking for in a nice community.
