@@Quinnistan your calling the OP trashy? why cus she was getting feelings for her friends boyfriend? need I remind you that she was hidign the fact she was SECTRETLY dating JAKE while still in a relationship? the two got feeligns admitted to each other that they had feelings and then waited a few days before sayign it to her. meanwhile she was datign Jake behind her bfs back for a few months and didnt say a word. she didnt know how to get out of her relationship with her bf so when OP and the bf admitted they were fallign in love to her she saw it as a excuse to come clean so she could be with jake instead.

@@Corbzer Before you jump to any conclusions, I never said what the ex girlfriend did was right. Like I stated before, I still strongly believe that what the OP did was trashy none the less. Even when we were told that the girlfriend was cheating, that does not justify the OPs betrayal to her friend. (Two wrongs don't make a right.) Even if they "waited a few days before sayign anything to her" both of them should've kept boundaries with each other (from the start) to avoid any awkwardness such as this. Thankfully for them, it worked out. Generally speaking, yikes. Most people would not be so compassionate.

@@Corbzer To be quite honest, I don't believe Sarah used that as an excuse to leave because she didn't know how to.. I see it as, [If she were to explain it to them earlier, the two wouldn't believe they had feelings for each other. They just so happen to figure it out on their own] as how most of these stories go. Don't get me wrong, Sarah should've broken up with her ex. But her situation was awkward as well. I don't blame her for distancing emotionally as the two friends clearly started emotionally investing in each other.

@@Quinnistan well lets go based on the story. they hung out simply cus she was her best friend and he was her bf so the two would always be in soem contact regardless. they tried to ignore the feelings for each other for the sake of OP and didnt tell each other about there feelings. after awhile ((cant rmember how long they tried)) they eventually admitted to each other there feelings. bad yes but when you put two people together who have alot of common interests tthis can happen espeically when your not around often.

Emma and Mike had unacknowledged feelings for a while. They finally admitted their feeling to each other and then approached her. Those two never had sex, and really never acted on their feeling enough before telling each other to have even an emotional affair. In a normal relationship situation, them developing feels would REALLY suck. In this one, I that might have been why Sarah cheated, she knew before the other two even told themselves, much less each other, or anyone else. Sarah actually was DATING someone else while with Mike. SHE actually full on cheated. I think though due to the feeling that Mike and Emma developed, Mike didn't get angry. It's a VERY convoluted and unusual position to be in for them all.

@@dman052470 I know, it’s pretty complicated, I just think all of them while not bad people, are pretty dubious. Like I could see them innocently falling in love, and the gf suspecting it and pulling away, only to meet a new guy that helps her and makes her feel better. It could be pretty accidental, but it still all is pretty irresponsible, stupid and selfish. You don’t just fall in love, and OP and Mike didn’t, it took a while, both started to feel something, but neither stopped, they fell for the tentation and totally disregarded Sarah, it was an emotional affair. It only so happened that Sarah found a new guy, otherwise it would have been a disaster. Also, Sarah is pretty sus, it kind of sounds like her cheating would have happened either way, so their romance kind of saved her too. It’s less worse if the cheating started after she figured out they were in love, but she still cheated without knowing for sure, what if they decided to bury it, stop hanging out and stayed away? There is no way she knows how in love they are or if they are merely crushing. IMO they all kind of suck, they were all selfish and acted recklessly, they just were lucky they all made mistakes, so it kind off nullified each other’s mistakes and that they all decided to not ponder the details. It’s easy to think it was fine because it ended well, but it could have easily went terribly wrong.

@@dman052470 Had sarah not been secretly datign Jake then Mike and the best friend wouldnt have gotten so close because sarah would have been around alot more often. she dated jake for months it pushed mike to be with the best friend and when they admitted to falling for each other sarah didnt seem to even care cus she was already datign jake anyway.
