Why would the dad think he would get anything from the will of his ex-wife?
@samanthafairweather91865 ай бұрын
That's what I was thinking. Also, saying that an 18 year old is "too old" to go on the honeymoon, but the 17 year old isn't? Also, she only married him because she thought he was getting a free house, and was planning on kicking OP out. So when she realised that her plan wouldn't work, she dumped his ass! So he lost his daughter, new stepdaughters ( who he classed as more important than his own kid) and his new wife, in one go. Sucks to be him! 😂

This is because it's taking the most popular stories from forums such as Reddit and using them as a reference for a computer to generate new stories. But my mom still forgive him. The cheating happend again and again. With different woman. I never understand why she keep the marriage when its so broken. Leave us, 3 daughters with mental health issues. Stole my mom money and send it to his other family. Manipulated mom to put his name on the property. Until 2020 i lost my job, then i should crawl back to my parents. My dad get stroke, all his brothers and sisters who usually come to borrow money all disappear. Now that he get better, you probably think he is atone his sin. But NO, he cheating one more time. And not surprisingly enough that my mom still forgive him. Sorry if my grammar not good. Her father's priorities were never where they should be. He should have just been a support system for his daughter when her mom died. Instead of thinking his ex-wife would turn out her child and leave her house to her ex husband. Who would honestly think their ex would do that. If you lost your job why on earth would you continue to spend money on a wedding. A normal person would postpone it till they're back on their feet again. To dig the whole deeper he paid for a vacation he couldn't afford to take. Then thought he was going to go to his child's home and manipulate her into letting him take over. It probably would have worked if his new wife hadn't been so presumptuous in thinking it was a sure thing her new husband would take over the house.

Letting his crew move in with you permenantly is not the only logical solution. 1) Rent out the individual bedrooms to college students. 2) Become a foster parent. 3) become one of those covert safe houses for women/kids fleeing from domestic abuse situations. (Big plus with this option is you’d probably get to meet some of the motorcycle clubs who escort kids to trial, to testify and stuff. They are all volunteers, and are probably some of the kindest most compassionate people you’ll ever meet. Invite them over for backyard BBQ a couple times a year, and they’ll help a bunch of terrified kids who have to tattle on their own kids. And if you ever need to disappear a body (or turn someone bothering you into a body that will promptly disappear), these guys would have your back. They’re basically big ole’ Teddy Bears with tattoos, until there’s some kind of threat. But if there is some kind of threat, there won’t be for long.

How can a man who disliked a woman enough to divorce her want to live in the house so he could “feel close to her?!” The now new wife needs to be made aware of this man’s feelings and reason for wanting to move back!!! I imagine she wouldn’t be very happy about it! 🤪😳🤔🤨

Dear old dad remembers all the happy times with OPs mom and misses her. BULL, Dude you divorced her and walked away from that house. Not to mention you got remarried. Dad ans SM are the AHs

This op is awesome. You didn't do anything wrong. Don't be stupid and feel bad. No reason to feel bad for toxic POS people.

I knew julia was going to go back to the ex! Op did the right thing. Once the dad moved in he would not have wanted to leave. The audacity to tell someone we can split the bills let us stay and you lost your job! Nooo! And no matter how you wanna split the bills you cant take account for everyone's usage, upkeep the house etc.

Dad and OPs mom were divorced, and he gave her the house in the divorce, because he got out of paying alimony.. So, i dont know why he'd ever think she'd leave the house to him after her death.. He wanted that dang house, and was willing to screw his daughter over to get it.. What a total AH!!

Oh, I have a step monster like this. She is way worse with my sister than me. She was so jealous of my sister that she put all her effort into breaking the father/daughter relationship they had. She finally succeeded. It was years of conflicts and anger and heartbreak. So, blocking them from your home saved you a lot of grief. Don't let them in.

The jilted daughter basically told her deadbeat dad that he made his bed and now he has to lie in it.

Great Job as A single parent you did the correct thing not allowing them to remain, I would have not wanted them inside my home period

It makes no sense Dad and new wife would move in with OP because who’d run the house? Would step mom turn OP into a Cinderella demanding she clean the house? Bad idea letting them move in!

You are not the a-hole, if your missed your mom he should've stayed with your mom. They are playing on your emotions knowing your grief if your dad and his new wife cared there woukdbe been consideration and appreciation and gratitude.

The house was left to her and that’s perfect. The fact that her mom didn’t leave everything to her her father shouldn’t have gotten anything in the will their divorced. You don’t leave your ex stuff in your will unless it’s as a executor for a minor child and then once they’re an adult, they take care of it themselves leave everything to your child and if they’re not old enough, you have a thing that their other parent gets control over it until they’re old enough to take it themselves so they put money into investments were they can say you can’t touch it or you have this situation you can get your money early to buy your first car. You can have some money that’s the only time your ex gets, your money he should be begging for her to take the other stuff that her mother should have left her

1- why would you bring your daughters to your honeymoon ? It's like bringing your parents to your honeymoon it's fcked up 2- why the father wanted to stay in the house to keep the memories of his died wife if he has a new wife ? It's weird too, is the new wife happy with it ? 3- OP won't help them if they curse and insult her. They are fcked up too for that

Who takes their daughters on their honeymoon? Who decides to take their children on their honeymoon, but then doesn't take all of them?!
