if you roll as a hero it allows your character to dash and it is quite useful for getting in and out of fights as well as getting to places quicker. same with the commando droid.

There was a droid on the battle of geonoisis I think. Captain Rex was pinned down and was calling for anakin to come in but obi-wan came thru and started tearing shit up. He deflected a shot that hit a droid in the processing unit and realized what he was doing. The droid started fighting the other droids and the battle droids weren’t programmed to shoot other droids.
