Thanks Doctor!!!! Good to see you’re back to the G2G videos. You were one of my favorite teachers when I started brewing 4 years ago. I’ve come a long way thanks to BrewTubers like you! Cheers!🍻

@15.16 If you could blow your own horn, you`d never get any brewing done. 😜 The deer don`t get the spent mash anymore ? Great image and sound quality, what a pro.

Very enjoyable as always. Sorry no negative comments. But can you provide a new link for your carbonation calculator

Hi mate, just copying the recipe over to my brewfather. I'm hoping to do this with novalager at garage temp which will hopefully stay at 30c with help from inkbird and heat band. Your hops say 100g for 80mins and 80g for 40mins but just a 60min boil. Is this right for no chill? Did you add 20mins instead of take away?
@DrHansBrewery11 ай бұрын
That´s of the No-Chill. If your chilloing the wort normally here´s a new hop scheduele @60min 130g Hallertauer Mittelfrueh @20min 80g Hallertauer Mittelfrueh
@itsniallgrant11 ай бұрын
Sorry, I am no chilling. I just don't get why you boil for 20 mins longer. Shouldn't the 60min additions be added at 40mins? I.e. 20 mins later, not earlier
@DrHansBrewery11 ай бұрын
@@itsniallgrant I'm not, for the calculations to be correct in the software 20 min are added. The actual hop schedule for NO-Chill is: @60min 100g Hallertauer Mittelfruer @20min 80g Hallertauer Mittelfruer In the "Recipe Note" section I tried to explain it: !!NO CHILL!! 60Min BOIL (20Min added as calculations)

Ah, ok, I get it now. I did read your note a few times but still couldn't figure out what's going on. Thanks very much. I get it sorted and get back to ya in a few weeks 😉 Can't wait to try it

Hello from GBG! I want to thank you so much. You've helped so much when I was getting started and got me to try pressure fermentation. But i have a dilemma i hope you could give advice on. I did a pressure fermentation at about 2 bar but after bottling (i dont have kegging as an option) the beers were rather flat. Is there a way i can figure out how much primeing sugar i should use without guessing. Dont want to make bombs. Thanks/
@DrHansBrewery Жыл бұрын
Thank you so much! It might be hard to calculate as it would be impossible to know how much carbonation you lost during bottling. If you feel that you have some carbonation but not enough. Why not try use half the amount of sugar that you would normally use. That that would make bottle boms seems very unlikely to me.
