Anytime you see a "C" clasp (they are fixed and soldered and don't spin) it's most likely very old. I found a gold, opal, and 3 diamond pendant/necklace with chain in a $4.00 dollar jewelry jar last September. I don't know how they missed it it's huge and is marked in 3 places. You never know. Great bar pin!!!!! Congrats!!!!!

ohhh I am so so jealous, James Avery is on my most wanted hunting list. It looks like a snap pendant, the back snaps up and onto a chain. That rhinestone earring with the rhinestones around the bottom marked .925 looks like Nadri earrings, their style is so similar to that.

Pendant at 22:40 is Gorgeous! Brooch at 20:00 is probably 1950's and has the foil backed stones as center pieces. It's lovely and the replacement of 2 stones is not that difficult. Definitely worth selling solo as it's just a minor fix and a real statement piece.

Happy for the gold and diamond collar pin, funny thing, the crochet earrings you showed, I have those in all black and silver, but of course won’t wear them, but what I did do, is cut the ear hang off and glued them to a pair of black heels as a decorative accent, I actually wore them yesterday, and got so many compliments, so you see we can make nice things out of those crazy earrings. 🙀🙀🤪🦋

My grandmother used to sell antique and vintage costume jewelry back in the 1970s and 80s and her jeweler told her in the late 1800's up to the 1940s they used low grade and flawed diamonds in the costume pieces.

Hello. I just came across your channel and saw that Wine charm thingy. Ive made those before. Open it to full circle, slide it over the base. Tighten it by pulling larger ring with the slit. Take the slitted ring part and put it on the top of the wine glass, by putting the open part of the slit over the glass lip. So basically its a glass dangle charm and not the wine stem charm as usual. The complications come because the wine glass itself comes in so many different sizes now that sometimes its rather tight fitting to the glass or dangles to much and falls off the lip.

That mother of pearl piece with the funny looking clasp, is called an enhancer. You open the clasp and hang on a strand of pearls or beads. It hangs between two pearls or beads. They were quite popular I think in the 1990's. I had quite a few . They were called enhancers because they "enhanced" a plain strand of pearls or beads. I love your jewelry jars videos. I'm an antique dealer, and I specialize in estate jewelry. You got an incredible brooch! I believe that is an Art Deco bar brooch with either sapphires or iolites interspersed with seed pearls. That's one of the old, mine-cut diamonds. Similar pieces sell on eBay for about $300-$600. What an amazing find!

Congratulations - that bar pin is exquisite - I have one with a similar clasp and construction (with that pierced gallery and frame) - when you pulled it out and turned it over, I started jumping up and down for you - because I knew it was a good piece! On the half turquoise bracelet, is it a relios/carolyn pollack? It was hard to see on the back of the tag - but it almost looked like it could be her logo before the 925? Although I haven't seen a hangtag like that from her before - but she's changed her marks a lot.

Deb Kay I think the sleeping beauty mine closed down closer to 7 years ago, due to safety conditions. I have heard Jay King say there could be a lot more to mine, but everyone was tunneling in from all different directions and they had tunnels collapsing left and right, hence the safety issues. It would cost millions to go in and re-enforce everything😀

You may have some real gems and minerals mixed in that jewlery. Please look up genstones and such so you do not miss anything worthwhile. Those blue stones look like tanzanite to me. You can do some basic tests to tell if pearls are real. Great finds and good luck!😊

I think Tanzanite was discovered in the 1960's and introduced to the world by Tiffany's. I think, lol. I am certain that tie bar is older than Tanzanite is. A truly exceptional piece!
