So in case you were wondering, autozone & most part stores have filters for mowers that are not a fram. I’ve been using em for years & have been fine. It’s pretty convenient for an oil change & just go on up & grab a filter & she’s good to go.

doesnt matter is u have 100 screwdrivers... cant find the one u want... got 5 phillips... need flat blade. get them when on sale at HF paint them pink so can see them in the box full of tools so might be able to SEEEEEEE the screwdriver u want... maybe.

Try frams 10060 filter and 3600, they are the same thread but the 3600 has more space for more oil.

A question, why do you not make a forward steering wheel adapter? I believe it will enhance the ability to turn without increasing weight. Also, why keep the governor in? All my repairs it did the trick? Love your videos. They bring back memories of lots of experimenting when I was a Yout.

you probably get asked this a lot, but what is your pulley setup on the poulan? i had a 2 inch pulley on the transaxle on mine and it worked for about a month and went like 20 mph but then it started to constantly slip in every gear so i replaced it with a 4 inch pulley and now it can only go uphill in 1st gear and it slips a lot in 4th and 5th. It also tops out really low at like 10 mph.

hey, nice mods on those tractors! i got myself a mtd and i converted it into a all terrain style, with atv wheels.....but i have a problem. with the original pulleys and new belts, i cant make it climb small hills, it atsrts slipering a lot. how can i fix it? any ideas?

Funny, I just changed them out for paddle tires, video coming soon. However, they are just short term because the ride too rough. These are Dirt Devils 22X11X8. I also just picked up a set from GoPowerSports.com, again video coming soon. They look just like the dirt devils and are the same size. They would probably cost less than Dirt Devils and Dirt Devils may be hard to find. Good luck and thanks so much for watching.

poulan actually hit 28 and silver hit 27, however I plan to redo the top speed on silver. I was on a bumpy dirt road and it wasn't running great... Maybe tonight at the car show I can get a speed better than poulan and hopefully hit the 30's. thanks for watching.
