I cooked up a Palkia - Manaphy - Starmie - Vaporeon deck and man the amount of moves you can make is crazy. Loving it. I will try that Mamoswine deck once I get another Mamoswine lol, love that evolution line.

dialga ex + yanmega ex is an absolute banger. i was thinking about it before but it seemed like an odd combination, but now that i've used a scuffed version of it in game, i really think it's got the potential to be a consistent heavy hitter

What do you think about an Aerodactyl ex plus Lucario deck, with Idk Hitmonlee/Marshadow or Primeape deck? Cheap but good damage early

One thing I would consider adding to the Skarmory deck is Giovanni. While plenty of decks will prefer to lead on Pokémon like Palkia, there are a reasonable number of 110 HP pokémon (like Weezing), potentially 90 HP Pokémon likely looking to use Giant Cape to beat the Pikachu matchup (like Ninetales) and, most importantly, 60 HP basics (like Ralts and Manaphy). If going second, Skarmory, a pokétool and Giovanni letting you snipe opposing basics before they can evolve or play energy to retreat seems like a back-breaking tempo play.

Dude, you should totally try Lucario + Hitmonchan + Marshadow! It's absolutely oppressive and quick to ramp, you start hitting 70 on Chan and 140 on Marshadow with a possible 80 coverage on the Lucarios super quick!

Opened a couple packs today, didn’t get a single EX but got Mamoswine and Manaphy. Manoswine feels like the best stage 2 water pokemon imo. It is not weak to electric, one shots pikachu and is extra strong against fire. RIP my boy Empoleon

My melmetal deck has 2 butterfrees... I think what it needed was a way to ramp (dialga) and something to boost the defense of melmetal (the new cloak) 9:45 i wanna cook something for yanmega outside of a grass deck... Maybe in a dark deck, countering the fighting types that are strong against dark but weak against grass? Still need a second copy and both yanmas before i go to the kitchen

Not fully new. Definitely not a cook like these decks. But was playing a lot of MI Vaporeon before the rollover. It felt so strong and every time I had a magikarp in hand, I imagined it was s as Palkia and this feels like it could be so strong. I think players gave up on it way too early last season, and I think revisiting with our new tools could yield a huge upgrade to what seemed to be a high skill cap deck that people cast aside too quickly
