My hair is literally the EXACT same curl pattern as yours. My front and crown are really loose, the back is not as loose as the front but it's still loose like 4b. But then the hair above my ears is really really thick, tight and kinky. So this is something I have to look forward to in a couple of months (since I will be two years natural in May) My hair will nearly be this length and hopeful look like this too!!!!!!!

Cynth the hair above my ears are the same!!! the back is bone straight, & the rest is curly like hers & the roots are very very smooth. last relaxer was fall 2015, 4 chops last yr. I'm wondering if my sides are so different bc I used to brush my hair back a lot when relaxed, sweat, or damaged from over the yrs. I have ever to use a very very thin light hair grease to seal in moisture above my ear & temple are

This has got to be the most simple wash and go I've seen as of yet. My curl pattern is rather similar to yours, and since unlocking my hair, I've been steadily searching for something that won't take me hours in the restroom ,as I lead a very busy lifestyle. And in addition to the shrinkage - that I don't fancy - with my hair also being low porosity, it takes FOREVER to dry. Thanks so much for the vid!

It is amazing to me how much your hair grew since October. I've been trying to document how much my hair has grown (I feel like it hasn't grown & I've been doing better with taking care of it) but I know patience is key lol . I just come and watch your videos and a couple other KZbinrs to help motivate myself to continue on my path . You are gorgeous and a true inspiration . Your hair came out lovely as well lol . I'm a little over 8 months natural so hopefully I'll get where I want to be .

when you did the hair shake at toward the end, i was like daaannnggg that's a lot of hair lol! hair goals for sure. to get the max definition out of my curls, i would have to go strand by strand with my curl repairing cream and it definitely does take some time. i put them in twist with the cream and seal it in with come JBCO and the style last for a few days. i just spray some water and conditioner in it the next day to revive the flat and dryness. for the most part, i do a co-wash and go & define my curls in the front with my cream and i like the outcome (:

I love your hair. It's the closest to mine that I've seen online thus far. People always assume it's a twist-out, but it's just a wash-n-(gel)-n-go, LOL! I really like your video because I am trying to learn how to get my gelled curls to be softer. Sometimes they look like glue-clumped hard curls -- like I tried too hard. Once dry, they move like stiff boards. Videos like this are really helpful.

+Ty Beauté I think you should buy products based on what your hair needs. Like if you are prone to having dry hair look for products that is for dry hair, or if you have thick or fine hair look for products that said for fine or thick hair, etc. etc. But all in all you just have to try things and see what you like, it took me months before I knew what my hair loved. 2 things. 1st it's crazy how similar our hair is. Literally the only difference is the length because you transitioned for 2 years and I transitioned for 16 months. The difference in 6 month of growth is crazy. 2nd I kinda have a similar method for my W&Gs but as my hair grows longer I find that the praying hands method actually works well to distribute product but rather than raking or shingling finger detangling is the best way to clump and define curls for me. What you taught me in this vid is that eco styler plays nicely with that cantu product which is pretty inexpensive in my country so I will definitely pick it up. Thank you for the heads up.

You are my hair twin. We have really similar hair patterns even my front and crown being a looser curl than the rest. I love wash and go's too so I'm going to try these products. I've used the curl cream but never on a wash and go.
@rainyDaze968 жыл бұрын
what really helps with frizz is putting each section into half twists after I put the gel on it and let it dry half way before taking them out. It sounds like it would mess up the natural curl pattern and give you a twist out but it just helps to stretch the roots and prevent puffiness at the roots. I learned this from LiveNaturally Love YT channel

I'm on a no-heat journey (5 mths so far) and I too have low porosity hair. Looking at your hair and reading these comments I didn't realize so many of us naturals were alike! Our hair texture and pattern are identical! Tighter in the back and on the sides, looser in the crown and in the front. My crown won't even hold a twist 😒 I always have to put a rubber band or something cause it's SO loose and almost out of place lol. My sides are predominantly gray so not only is it kinkier but it's also wirey. I LOVED your WnG results and will def be trying that curling cream!
