I have curly hair and I'm Mexican. I've noticed that people with straight hair (usually white or Asian people) think it's just a "quick wash" shampoo, body wash, and done. No no no. Shampoo, conditioner, extra conditioner stuff, leave in conditioner, more leave in conditioner, extra stuff, then, done.

I’m white, scandinavian, and I honestly have a very similiar routine and spend alooot of time on my hair (before, in the shower and after) + alot of products. Having fine and thin hair is really a struggle and it needs alot of love 😅 Hair wash day = literally hair wash DAY.

It’s really educational! I’m Asian and I have straight hair. They are sooooo easy to get “oil” and most of my friends have to wash it every day (otherwise it looks like it’s wet yeah that much oil) . I know it is not good for hair. I wonder if people with curly hair gets less oil their skull?

Elle Encarnacion do you think this is because we wear our hair out doing all this stuff for like a month or so and then after we get like braids or weave it something and keep it for like months and months without doing all this and accessing our hair like we need to ? This is why I'm wearing my hair out more to see
@TheElleWord316

Brittany Udegbu idk because I don't wear weaves I literally just don't moisturize my hair or scalp properly and I sometimes wait one month before washing

I wish you all would stop with the "early" and "first" comments. The creators put in a lot of work and it's disrespectful for you all to not actually comment on the videos themselves. Anyway, loved the routine. I usually section my hair off, but I'm going to try and wash my without sectioning it next time. I'll also incorporate the aloe vera gel prior to the deep conditioner. Thank you for the tips!

Hey Shawnta, do you get single strand knots often and if so what's your advise on maintaining length and healthy hair with them??
@Kaylee2012
@Kaylee2012 7 жыл бұрын
Amatullah F The night before wash day put extra virgin olive oil and castor oil (for hair growth) and cholesterol (to stop breakage and make it easier to detangle) in your hair, mainly concentrating on your scalp. The next morning wash it out. I'm transitioning and this has helped tremendously

I enjoy these videos about how to better manage and maintain healthy hair and scalp by using a good moisturizing shampoo and deep conditione routine!I have type 4 hair and I been using Design Essentials shampoo and deep Conditioner! I would also use the daily Moisturizing lotion and oil my scalp with Jamaican black Castor and on my ends about 2- 3 times a week! My natural growth halr is to grow my hair to the middle of my back if possible! Shawnte hair is extremely long and pretty! The hair looks soooo pretty wet! She has real defined spiral curls that are silky and shiny! It's really beautiful! I would love to try at least few of these products one day soon!❤😊

I recently incorporated aloe Vera gel in my routine and I agree it makes a big difference . One day I'm going to be brave and do a nothing but diy routine and use the juice as a leave in . I will keep you posted. I want to change up some things for the summer so I don't get attacked by bees. I know that sounds crazy but some products just attract too many bees...🤣 Oh yeah, I'm going to steal the black soap idea as well...thnx for the info.

Please help. My hair has always been my pride and joy. I figured since it is pretty damn healthy, it could deal with some bleach damage. And I figured the master stylist who did all the color-corrections would know how much would be too much. I was wrong, and now I want to burst into tears every time I look at my hair or touch it. I just don't know what to do. my hair has also NEVER been shorter than this and it breaks and falls out. What should i do to regrow hair?
