I have curly hair and I'm Mexican. I've noticed that people with straight hair (usually white or Asian people) think it's just a "quick wash" shampoo, body wash, and done. No no no. Shampoo, conditioner, extra conditioner stuff, leave in conditioner, more leave in conditioner, extra stuff, then, done.

I’m white, scandinavian, and I honestly have a very similiar routine and spend alooot of time on my hair (before, in the shower and after) + alot of products. Having fine and thin hair is really a struggle and it needs alot of love 😅 Hair wash day = literally hair wash DAY.

It’s really educational! I’m Asian and I have straight hair. They are sooooo easy to get “oil” and most of my friends have to wash it every day (otherwise it looks like it’s wet yeah that much oil) . I know it is not good for hair. I wonder if people with curly hair gets less oil their skull?

Elle Encarnacion do you think this is because we wear our hair out doing all this stuff for like a month or so and then after we get like braids or weave it something and keep it for like months and months without doing all this and accessing our hair like we need to ? This is why I'm wearing my hair out more to see

Hey Shawnta, do you get single strand knots often and if so what's your advise on maintaining length and healthy hair with them??
@Kaylee20127 жыл бұрын
Amatullah F The night before wash day put extra virgin olive oil and castor oil (for hair growth) and cholesterol (to stop breakage and make it easier to detangle) in your hair, mainly concentrating on your scalp. The next morning wash it out. I'm transitioning and this has helped tremendously

I would also use the daily Moisturizing lotion and oil my scalp with Jamaican black Castor and on my ends about 2- 3 times a week! My natural growth halr is to grow my hair to the middle of my back if possible! Shawnte hair is extremely long and pretty! The hair looks soooo pretty wet!
