I decided to end my 3 year loc journey because I wanted to welcome new energy into my life as well as start a new natural hair journey.

i've had loc since i was 2 so i don't know anything different. But i'm needing a change. COVID has been really hard on my mental health and i feel like like i want to cut it too. i want to start a new fresh chapter but i'm scared also because all my family has locs and i don't necessarily want to be judged.

Wow, you’re only 20...just a baby 😩😩 I totally understand what you mean by wanting a new look, especially now they you’re starting to really grow into womanhood. I went natural my senior year of highschool and I always kept my hair in a fro. In 2019 I wore it straight. After all the heat damage I cut it all off and wore a fade for almost a year. In quarantine last year I started my locs and I’m 8.5 months into the journey. You are so beautiful both inside and out. Keep shining bright, baby ✨💫

@Von love they can definitely receive the moisture needed because hair is hair even being detached. How you care for them afterwards is vital. That’s like a mannequin head, not a live scalp but the hair care is based on how you treat it.

I have been locing for 2 years & 2 months now & getting that itch to wear a short boys cut!!! As I have in the past many many times!!! Also From Pressed shoulder length hair, to braided hair, to 2 strand twist, to weaved hair for the hair magazines & at the end of the day it is Hair and as long as we do what we desire for our hair All is Perfect & Good!!!!
