In the past few years, I have come to realize what a “miracle substance” Hydrogen Peroxide really is! It’s safe, readily available, affordable, and best of all, can be used in a HUGE variety of ways!
Follow the link at the end of the video to view my entire list of uses for hydrogen peroxide, that I hope will have you as thrilled and bewildered as I was!

I own a residential cleaning business and use hydrogen peroxide every day! Love it! I recently did a video of my own featuring HP and this was very helpful to me! Thanks.

Great ideas! Is this food grade hydrogen peroxide? Regular 3% drug store hydrogen peroxide has stabilizers in it that are not good for you.

Thank you so much for this video. I knew you could clean and disinfect with peroxide, but I loved your ideas. I have hair dye in the collar of a white shirt. I have been soaking it in cold water and Stanley degreaser, but now I'll also try the peroxide before washing. Since you like natural things, have you ever tried wool dryer balls. They are amazing and so much healthier than dryer sheets or fabric softener. I use essential oils on one of the balls after the clothes are dry and run the load on air dry for 10 or more minutes and voila! nicely scented clothes and towels/sheets. I use white vinegar for fabric softener in everything.

Super video! I never thought of using it on towels - I use bleach but I can't stand the smell and I get migraines. Hydrogen peroxide will be so much better for me and the towels because I know bleach is rather harsh. Thank you so much for sharing this and the website. I will definitely be trying it out more often than I have in the past. If I use it on my teeth though, it will have to have some flavor; I don't know if a mint extract would work or maybe lemon juice, but there must be something to make it taste better - I'm surprised I haven't come across a tip on that yet. My head says thank you again as you may have taken away one of my migraine triggers permanently and cheaply (migraine medicine is nowhere close to 88 cents; more like $88 and it's not much medication). :)

Does it lighten the color of your cutting board or counter top? I remember it kind of lightening hair a while back. I'd like to use it as a disinfectant instead of the chemical countertop cleaners.
@sadee1287
@sadee1287 3 жыл бұрын
No it won't lighten it. If you are using 35% food grade HP, dilute a capful or two in some water. It will clean, de-grease and disinfect. Soaking your cutting board for a bit will also kill all germs and bacteria. No chemicals left behind, just rinse and dry. Best cleaner there is.

@helenhighwater2254
@helenhighwater2254 8 жыл бұрын
+Catherine C Spray the ink stain with hair spray. The ink will start to spread but don't worry, it is simply breaking down the stain. Machine wash in cold water by itself and the stain should come out. Repeat if necessary

Hydrogen peroxide is so expensive here in Germany... Its for 1000ml about 11€
@dax9431
@dax9431 6 жыл бұрын
Nico, What grade are you looking at? She is using ONLY 3% grade. You might be looking at 35% food grade.
@linab4901
@linab4901 6 жыл бұрын
In Germany you don't get 35% as a private person its forbidden. I speak about 3%. :)
@dax9431
@dax9431 6 жыл бұрын
WOW! Here in Canada 500ml of 3% costs $1.00CA So that is a real mystery why they charge SO very much more Nico!!! The price here has been sneaking up ... it USED to be 5% in an 800ml bottle for that $1.00CA. The price there you should look into.
@linab4901
@linab4901 6 жыл бұрын
A lot of things natuRAL "chemicals" for Cleaning are not so extremely cheap here. At least often not for private persons. If you buy as a company often you get to buy things somewhere different and get much better prices. But never like 2 € for 1000ml.

any ideas about getting the smell out of my toilet tank, it is less then a year old. They say no bleach. also I notice the tank lid always has alot of moisture dripping from it when i remove it..thank you
@sadee1287
@sadee1287 3 жыл бұрын
Have your plumber check your sewer stack first. It could be leaking which may be causing your odour issues. As for the tank lid (underside?) the moisture may be condensation from the water in the tank condensing on the lid especially when there's a temperature difference (cold water, warm tank lid), or slight over-spray from the tank re-filling after flushing. Nothing to worry about. Periodically you may want to drain the tank and check tank seal to make sure it isn't degrading (and they all do as time goes by) and replace as necessary. The only other thing I can think of that may be causing your odour issue in the tank is your water supply. If you are not in a city center with an urban water source, but rather well water or cistern, you may have to look into whether your water has iron content which may lend itself to odour formation in your tank. When in doubt, consult a plumber.

Sounds nice, except doesn't hydrogen peroxide plus vinegar make a toxic gas according to Google?
@josemelendez3705
@josemelendez3705 7 жыл бұрын
Peroxyacetic Acid (it is a strong oxidizing agent but, not a gas), mixing hydrogen peroxide and acetic acid in a simple bowl (without a strong catalyzer. also vinegar is just 5-20% acetic acid, the rest is water) would result in a poor amount of peroxyacetic acid that shud be not dangerous, but enough for cleaning purposes, I guess... BUT as always take you own cautions, use gloves and try to not smell it.

Hi, that brown bottle of HP is surely pharmaceutical grade .... that is NOT GOOD to use it to clean the tooths !! ........ it should be FOOD GRADE ONLY !!
@sadee1287
@sadee1287 3 жыл бұрын
Yes. Only food grade is appropriate for teeth/gum applications and diluted otherwise you could actually damage gums and tooth enamel. Also not all oral bacteria is bad. Using xylitol or erythritol as an oral rinse (they are sugar alcohols which are safe) inhibits cavity causing bacteria while maintaining the good bacteria.
