@@BeardedBucc I have one too got it at launch like in 2016 and it's still my main rig (longest time I've ever kept a case in 25+ years) it's just so massive I have no need for anything else even with full custom water cooling. The only thing I wish it had is a USB C front port besides that it's perfect and so big it actually holds my home theater receiver on top of it and an additional 27" monitor for side content next to my 65" oled which is what's actually above my desk (the pc sits on the ground next to it and kinda "extends" my desk. Things a beast!

PSA: You only get 1 bracket for mounting fans or radiators (if that wasn't obvious to you already.) You can get another one, but I had to get in contact with Thermaltake and requested that they send me a spare set so that I can mount fans on both sides. $15 for the spare bracket, and $5 for shipping. They don't currently have any in stock, so I'm on a waiting list. Keep that in mind, as well. So if you want to do the same thing, expect to pay around $200 for the case instead of $180. If you want to have the front panel screen along with it, add another $100 to that.

The first part of this video makes for a surprisingly excellent learning supplement. There are a lot of instructional videos that don't get as up-close-and-personal as this, and so it's very easy to miss so many of the little steps involved (such as pealing the peal on the thermal pad for the NVMe heat sink).

I had a Tower 100, but the problem with these cases is that GPU orientation doesn’t work for most modern GPU heat pipe orientation. It places the evaporator (hot gpu die) above the condenser (cooler heatsink mass). This causes the heat pipes to fight gravity, and lose. My 3070 GPU would thermal throttle, and just flipping the Tower 100 on it’s side would drop GPU temps by 20C+ in only a few seconds.

That's weird my GPU and CPU which both uses heat pipes doesn't have this issue. I also run the tower 100.

@Jason Wiese ASUS TUF GAMING 3080 12G. No issues at all and my temps are quite low tbh. My cpu cooler is a THERMALRIGHT PEERLESS ASSASSIN 120.

@@cowbee8865 Both the ASUS TUF and STRIX suffer from high GPU temps when mounted like this. Recommend checking GPU-Z sensor tab and looking at hotspot and overall temp under full load like AIDA64 or furmark, then turn the case on its side so the card is horizontal and see if you get a large drop.

@@Weezedog Dude. I ran Afterburner and Riva when I'm gaming and I overclock my PC. I have above average 3D mark scores and Cinebench R23 scores. I don't know where you are getting your info at but I don't seem to be getting any kind of issues and I've run OCCT for 12 hrs and haven't run to any kind of temperature issues. My temps are stupidly good at 67c for my TUF Gaming 3080 under full load and around 73c for my 5800X3D all of this with auto fan speed. I don't know why you're even telling me this when I know full well how my pc works.

This case solves my problem with the Level 20 HT that I have. Although my build is completely custom cooled, the Level 20 HT does not have very good options for fan and radiator placement. Matter of fact, it kind of sucks if I'm completely honest. I thought about the Tower 900, but it's just too big, and the Tower 100 is WAY too small.

I have the same case and I'm attempting to mount the TT Pacific CL360 radiator on the right side. It doesn't line up with the intake grates on the door. You're supposed to flip the door when you install the side radiator in this position. I have flipped the door but the radiator is still about an inch (25mm) from being properly centered on the door grates. Next, the AIO bracket ONLY fits their AIO radiator correctly. In order to mount it to the Pacific CL360, you have to flip the bracket around and flush mount it on the face of the radiator. The bracket is too short to completely fit around the radiator as shown in the manual. Once you flip the bracket and attach it, that puts the radiator 2 inches (50mm) from the above mentioned off-centered intake grates. So instead of pulling in ambient air, you're just recirculating case air. IMO these are both terrible design flaws and really show a lack of forethought on the part of the engineering and development departments at TT. It's my first "big purchase" with TT and I'm less than impressed. I bought their case and their radiators and it all fits together like it was designed by a 4yr old. I'm returning all this garbage. The radiator should be lined up fully with the intake grating on the door and the bracket should fit their own radiator, or a different bracket should be included. It's clear they only intend for you to use their AIO CPU cooler in this case.

I like how people spend a lot of money on a big showy fancy case, and then immeidatly start ripping crrrp off of it that is in the way. Glass side panels - gone. Front panel - gone. Drive trays we don't need - gone. My philosophy is you just need a frame. I buy a midtower for $15 at the thrift store and always make it work. If you don't do water cooling, yeah, that's all you need. I've got midtower cases I can recycle in spades. From the roaring 90's. Take the old comptuer out, put in a new one.

So... Tower 250 as M-ATX? Because that's so much overlooked, while it's the ease of installation of a mid tower/atx but without too much space requirement, especially if you don't put in a lot of extra cards.

Great video, and the video & sound quality is always awesome. I bought the tower 100, looks great. Probably my only gripe with the 100, is the limited option for liquid cooling on the cpu - a 120/140mm set up is the only option. Air cooling isn't an issue.... all in all the tower series of cases seems like a solid option for great looking builds. I'm considering switching to the 500....🤔

If you want a small PC case of a similar size to the Tower 100, consider the Tower 200. It can fit an RTX 4090, and up to a 280mm aio, with a max of 4 fans. It's a pretty cool compact PC case.

Thermaltake was a thing 15+ years ago. This case is just different, it's not great, and those quad ring fans have some very worrying concerns from Amazon customer reviews. Not everyone gets the fan sticker perfectly center, but for a $50 CAD fan they BETTER get them centered every time. I noticed it and it bothered me immediately. If you can't tell, I'm not impressed. lol The case is cool too look at for a bit, but I wouldn't want to own it.
