Thanks for sharing this awesome trip! Take a look at the NC750 DCT, had a 2021 Model and i liked it a lot. After a year of riding it i made a mistake and upgraded to the NT1100 DCT. Yes - more Power but way to heavy and DCT is not as good as NC750 DCT. Did a testride with CL500 (same engine as in NX 500), nothing to complain about, but if i had a choice i would always get the NC750

Love your Motorbike Tour series. How did you do your laundry?
@LifewithSerg2 ай бұрын
On all of my motorbike trips, I just wash stuff at the end of the day and hang it near the air conditioner to dry. Too much humidity to hang it outside, unless you can hang it near the AC exhaust vent, which will dry everything pretty quickly. I had four changes of shirts, underwear, and socks.

Thanks. I enjoy watching your videos. What riding gear are you using ( helmet, boots, jacket pants, gloves)? What gear do you recommend for riding in the hot humid rainy Thai weather? Are they available for purchase in Thailand?
@LifewithSerg2 ай бұрын
Everything you see me where was bought here in Thailand. There is at least six large bike, accessory shops in Bangkok. Every city has little bike shops, but finding protective gear is going to be tough outside the major city. My gloves are Revit, jacket and pants are Taichi, and helmet is Caberg. You can spend a lot of money on good equipment. All of my gear was not very expensive. I think I spent $800 total. You can easily spend that much on a really good jacket and pants combo.
@groovystrummer44282 ай бұрын
@@LifewithSerg Thanks. $800 is a reasonable cost for good quality and functional safety gear. After watching your videos I've decided to retire early and explore Thailand.

Great video and great series Serg. I'm riding up to Khon Kaen at the end of the month. I will definitely look out for the pizza joint the you mentioned. It seems you bought your bike around the same time as I bought my ADV350, so far I've clocked up 14,000km on it, the only issues I've had was a puncture in my rear tyre twice, and on my trip down south a few months ago I had an issue with the variator belt slipping. Both very minor issues, though it wasn't fun doing a trye repair in the p!$$ing rain, 555. I'm really looking forward to your next series on your new bike, maybe I'll catch you out on the road one day.

I will always miss something. There’s no possible way for me to cover every little part. The gear I wear is actually breathable and mesh. It’s a lot better than writing and shorts in the T-shirt getting dehydrated, and risking huge road rash. 😝

Honda NC750X. You'll soon appreciate the DCT transmission and faux gas tank storage. It would be an excellent choice as you continue your motorcycle exploration of Thailand.
@LifewithSerg2 ай бұрын
Thanks, but there’s just no way I’m buying a motorcycle with a DCT.
@sunrisejak27092 ай бұрын
@@LifewithSerg ok. After 50 years of riding I'll never buy another motorcycle without DCT😊. You do know you can shift manually with paddles. Traffic jams such as those in Bangkok or Chiang Mai or Phuket the DCT is a savior. I'm touring Thailand on a Honda NT1100 (my 22nd motorcycle in Thailand) and it's great. (but a bit big 😊) It seems you've not tried a DCT box as it has the same 6 speed gears but shift manually or automatically. The most popular DCT in Thailand is the XADV but it's also a bit heavy. BMW, Honda, Yamaha, KTM, MV Agusta and others all releasing some form of auto clutch. Oh well lots of nice choices in motorcycles.

I probably won't be driving myself when I get there but being a former trucker in the states I have seen whackos do that here as well but not as the rate you're seeing it over there.
