I came back from a festival today and started absolutely losing my head thinking I'd lost my GoPro. Checked everywhere I could fathom it being to no avail and just had to accept that it's gone and move on from it. Of course, after TRULY letting it go, I found it it in the most obvious place exactly like you said. After just grasping this insight of really letting go earlier today, it was a seriously mindblowing synchronicity for me hearing you articulate that here. Great video mate, one of your best!

He made our home such a toxic envoriment and his explosive and abusive personality messed up my mom,me and my sister bad. I always felt something was wrong with me and in my first pcilocybin trip I was shown one time my dad got so mad and treathening i remember something "broke" inside my mind. 1week post trip I had a very strong bodily reaction,I got chills up my spine and out of my mind came a new level of self realization.my "individuation" process became completed :D nature has so much potential for therapy and healing ;D

@enednas801 I have had a lot of traumatic incidents that happened in childhood. Unfortunately, more horrible things happened to me as an adult, too. It's strange that you say that something "broke"because during my most recent trip I was also shown in detail some things that triggered flashbacks. It was like I was forced to experience them again, and I also felt like something broke. It was also after the trip, about a week later I realised that something had changed. I had a new way of viewing these specific incidents that brought me peace and comfort. It's now a month later and it's like those specific things were put to rest. I still have more to work on but I'm spacing out my trips because I found this to be very overwhelming, although I didn't freak out and didn't consider it to be a "bad trip" Therapy has never worked for me and I was in therapy for years. People who view mushrooms negatively and just like other substances are naive and have obviously never used them for healing.

You're the first person I've seen and heard with the same ideas. Everyone thinks im crazy when i talk about it. But this is how we've made sense of the world. We FEEL it. They can't take that away from us, whether they are just ignoring it in themselves or just not built the same in the brain. The attachment of trying to be "someone" tends to make us lose our heads. Especially myself. These entities guide us through the journey under psychedelics. If we listen closely, they will tell is exactly what needs to be done. They are here for us. They are our guiding light. I've seen the light while on mushrooms more than once. I dont know what the hell it is.... but its absolutely fucking beautiful. You cant tell me these experiences are just coincidence. They are way too fucking specific for every individual. Call me whatever you want, but psilocybin is meant for us. The guidance we recieve from them is real. Life is very fucking weird but we have each other and our fungus friends to help guide us through. We are all connected afterall, so we do this together. We must live if we wish not to die. Thank you for posting your video💜

Never take psychedelics to try to gain something or to try to “cheat your way to the top”. They demand much more respect than that. They can help you grow if u take the right steps. As the old saying goes “set and setting” is extraordinarily important. This actually rings true with all substances.

And I’ve Been thinking about some very similar things in life, I agree and I think it’s important also to have understanding to our attachment to seeking especially when one is in pain. Because when we are in a lot of pain it is only natural to want to to not be in pain, it is only natural to want to in some way move from a unwanted to a wanted experience.

If we adjust the rhythm in harmony with the five elements, a flow of creative confidence acts as if by magic... everything falls into place. How far are we willing to go? To surrender in trust and become one with what is? Thank you for this capsule. Keep sharing, it’s a valuable help. A reminder that there are keys and essentials, and it’s always impactful. The main insight I got from psychs the first time I tried them was that the same love given to others can also be sent inward. After that, I kept revisiting bc that was the only way I knew to connect with myself in that way. April 2020, I felt I was ready for the “big teaching” and took an ultra-heroic dose (9.5 tabs), which culminated in my hearing Ram Dass’s voice for the first time saying “Be here now. Just be here now” and that cut through my mind and opened my heart. The timing of that was grace and the first thought I had following was “love transcends death” which put to rest a lot of my neurosis around impermanence. Come to learn about Ram Dass and it turns out he had a very similar experience upon meeting his guru, Neem Karoli Baba, and that sense of lineage propelled me down the spiritual path enough for me to start seriously engaging with Tibetan Buddhism

Hey my Mate Tom, What you tell about your healing journey resonates with me a lot. I see myself in the same situation where diving into psychedelic practices and clinging to the idea of "give me something, help me heal, change me" turned out to not be a lasting fruitful approach. Letting go of attachments and of the things that deeply run us is probably done best by a continuous mindful practice, balanced with times of taking rest from healing (as you say, there's seasons .. a circle). Psychedelics can be such a big aid on that journey, but shouldn't be looked as the main cure, the saviour - because that would be a form of attachment

Enlightenment is a commonly sought result from journeying, and indeed the only problem is having expecations of what it looks like. Let's be real, we all want to be able to levitate in the lotus posture to show off our level of enlightenment, but indeed, as Tom said, it is better to let go of any expectation for what the outcome of our seeking looks like. Set the intention, but then let go, as completely as you can. I like that in India, another way of describing the quest for enlightenment is to say one is seeking realization. The word realization hits the nail on the head for what enlightenment is all about. When you realize something, it means you have only just noticed something which was already there. "Oh, only now did I realize that the ladder was too short!" The ladder was already too short, but you didn't realize it at the time. Same with enlightenment.

A good lesson, I have thoughts about why this is. When we look for something we are using our own expectations to focus and find that thing. Therefore, sometimes we miss the thing itself because we do not recognize it as the thing we’re expecting. When we give time to observe and notice, then we can see things more freely.

yep, ayahuasca was quite the traumatic experience for me but I don't regret the whole experience. I found out that my mind is stronger than I thought it was. I was shown by ayahuasca to give up alcohol. Alcohol was at the root of my anxiety issues. I had leaned on it since I was 18 to be social in the world when in fact it was blocking my true self. The good effects of taking psychedelics may not readily felt for a long time because we may not act on what we were shown immediately. The ego can be very stubborn. All psychedelics do is plant a seed and it is up to the individual to flower that seed and change their lives.

Regarding the cat theory- Cats can perceive eye contact and attention as a 'threat' or 'too much' so to speak (if they know/trust you already), when you are focused on something else (i.e. as you said, working on something/reading) and looking 'disinterested in them' it is perceived as a calm, safe space, where they feel able to safely come to you for attention and comfort on their own terms. That's why a lot of people that hate cats get annoyed/confused as to why cats always come to them- the person is completely ignoring them and that body language says "I am a safe space, I mean you no harm at all" in cat language. I hope that makes sense! *Continues listening/watching

It is only when you let yourself sink in to the beauty of the garden and the joy of walking through it, those stones will litter your path.

I took two grams ofdried subs for the first time and it just made me extremely emotional and think about other people and their interactions with me. But it was not a 'trip' as I was expecting. And I thought that is supposed to be a pretty potent dose? It was very mild experience for me. Enjoyable though. And yes I did feel a sense of calm for a few weeks afterwards. I want to try them again, but I can't find any in the bush now :(

Does making psychedelic content or channel make it hard to make a monetizable career on youtube? Do you feel like theres such a thing as Shadow banning or can making content around this subject still be a good venture on KZbin?

(FoYan) "There is something in each of you that you will only be able to perceive when you turn around. So how does one turn around? By nonseeking seeking, seeking without seeking. This is precisely what people find hard to deal with or get into. How can you seek if you are not seeking? How can you not seek if you are seeking? If you only seek, how is that different from pursuing sounds and chasing forms? If you do not seek at all, how are you different from inert matter? You must seek, and yet without seeking; not seek, yet still seek. If you can manage to penetrate this, you will then manage to harmonize seeking and nonseeking."

Exactly why I don't own cats rofl. When you really need them, they won't jump in your lap, but when you stop wanting them to do so, that's when they do it...
