That looks so awesome! I wish my wood burning projects came out that beautiful! Unfortunately, I have a cheap wood burner set and either I’m just lousy at it or the burner doesn’t work well because many of my wood burning projects turn out too light. Even at the highest heat. Watching you has encouraged me to try wood burning again! Thanks for sharing!

Thank you! It could be the wood you’re using, I burned a lot on regular artist panels from my local craft store in the beginning, and I think they’re mostly pine and I found my burnings were always too light and it took forever and was frustrating. When I switched to basswood it made a huge difference.

Nice - plus digitally archived for the future. Sarah, do you find the Razortip Smoke Extractor effective in closed up winter conditions? ~ Greetings from Buffalo

Thanks! :) yeah I find the smoke extractor effective, it gets rid of the smell for the most part at least. I don’t usually produce a lot of smoke though, I’m not sure how it would do if you were burning really hot. And you have to keep it pretty close to the section you’re working on.

I used my Razertip wood burner for the whole thing. The yellow in the eyes is watercolour
