I am just starting with wood burning, after wood carving for about 6 months. Like you, I start too many projects, in different areas, too much. I do wish you would show the finished project a bit longer and pan around it more. Only because I want to enjoy your wonderful work a bit more after you’re finished. I can always pause, but just a friendly suggestion. Great work and thanks for inspiring me to pursue this area of woodworking!

NICE!!! Love all the additional information you include during the video. Is that a large spoon shader you are using?

Although I don't really like zoos because I believe that wild animals deserve to live in the wilderness, that picture is beautiful and your art piece is amazing as always!
@WildwoodStudio4 жыл бұрын
Thanks! I agree with you for the most part, but I think there is a place for big well funded Zoos where the animals are given a good life, because they teach people to care about conservation efforts and the environment. A lot of people wouldn’t work to save something they’ve never seen before.

Hi! I’m a new wood burnner do you have any tips or tricks
@WildwoodStudio3 жыл бұрын
Awesome! Hmm 🤔 I think my main tips for a beginner would be: Sand your wood as smooth as possible before you start, draw your design on a piece of paper and then trace it rather than drawing directly on the wood, and choose a wood burner with a temperature dial. Also, when setting your temperature, go low and slow and adjust your heat constantly. I think everything else just comes with practice. Good luck with your projects! 🙂

I'm looking getting into wood burning. Will there be a problem with smoke when it's done in the house?
@WildwoodStudio4 жыл бұрын
I do all my wood burning at home and I don’t really have a problem with smoke. There’s only ever a little bit of smoke if the burner is on a higher heat setting And then you can just open a window :) There is a bit of a campfire smell 😂 but that always goes away after a few hours

Do you ever do peoples faces from a photo?
@WildwoodStudio4 жыл бұрын
I’ve done a couple burnings of people, I tend to do more animals. I have a video up of a burning I did on a wallet (it has Geralt from the tv show The Witcher on it) and my other portraits are on my Facebook page if you’re interested.
