My dad would do the mouthing the words while someone was speaking to him, it drove us crazy. Until he randomly died in his sleep. I worked at a hotel awhile after that and a guy came to check in and did it. I almost started crying right there in front of him because it triggered a reminder of my dad doing it. 😢
