I was going through a very difficult time in my life about 9 years ago and I saw Viktor Frankl's quote attached to the end of all of a friend's emails, "The last of human freedoms - the ability to choose one's attitude in a given set of circumstances." I read the whole book after reading that quote!

Yes it’s mentioned in the preface but frankl writes it himself in the body of the book. And he also appropriately attributes it to the author… Friedrich Nietzche. “Those who have a 'why' to live, can bear almost any how”

It’s kinda funny that you picked what a different philosopher wrote as your nugget from Frankl’s book. However I can totally agree because that quote could be the subtitle to the book.
