Awesome, Captain Black my tiel loves it he's screeching to your tiels, bless him now he is on the tv trying to get into your lovely aviary. Captain Black owns my living room he even squeaks when he wants me to turn the music or tv down, in a cute way but I hope to find another tiel and make my own aviary leading onto the garden. Thanks you have given me lot's of ideas. Your tiels are very well taken care of , they look so healthy and happy your the best! :)

I wish I had the time to spend with my birds to keep them friendly. I only have one friendly bird out of about 60 and hes called Mango. He couldn't fly properly when he came out of the nest so I kept moving him to the food pot and now hes my best friend. Awesome birds by the way!

I LOVE your bird room... it's beautiful!!! :) Your birds are so lucky, they have such a wonderful place and caretaker ;) Did you build it yourself... those perches with bird safe collected wood? I plan on building my 2 tiels a play area which will take up nearly half my living room! LOL. Once of my tiel's is super laid back but my cinnamon tiel is wacko and super hyperactive. He's all over the place in action 24/7 he never sits still haha. Thanks for sharing your vid!

Depends a bit in which part of Finland you live. Friend of mine lives halfway in Finland (just outside Kajaani) and there it's like day light from 11-15 or so. And nearly all day during summer. Go more to the south and days should be a bit longer. Further north. Well I guess that would be very long days/nights depending on the season.

Bird Talk well, I can tell you one thing, never have one cockatiel. They are flock birds, it is not good for them to live alone. If you want to have cockatiels, you need to have at least 2 or 3 and also, really important, have enough space for them so they can fly.

Cockatiels are very lovely! But as said, you need to have more than one. And they are still exotic, so there are some special needs that parrots in general have. :) So study a lot and if you still like them, then go ahead! They are amazing. Make sure you get your birds from a good breeder. :)

Have your birds tried to land on the perches of that wallpaper when they first saw it? Just wondering because one of my cockatiels tried to land on a perch SHADOW that was reflected on a wall when she first arrived to me... It was so funny, didn't try it twice though. :D but I bet she would get confused with that wallpaper too! The room looks great!

My only (and first) cockatiel (Kiwi) will sometimes be walking and she will step over a linear shadow thinking it's a stick XD
