I had the same experience with my epidural during my first pregnancy 8 years ago. I had to get it twice because I was feeling everything. Here I am, 6 weeks pregnant. I’ve binged watch all of your pregnancy videos ❤ thank you and congratulations on your baby boy!

I had to get 2 epidurals also. They placed my first one in the wrong way and after still being in pain and complaining they had to replace it. It was a horrible experience.

Congratulations ❤ I had an epidural with my two boys and with both boys the epidural never fully numbed my legs and lower half like it’s supposed to. I was like half way numbed.😢 pretty bad natural births. Very scary. My first boy came out with the Umbilical cord Wrapped around his neck. And his face was purple. He’s a healthy 8 year old now. But this is very scary when we give birth and never know what will happen.❤ blessings to all!! 🙏🫶🥰

I’m so happy that you stood your ground. It was like no to the Pitocin. I had to do the Pitocin because they had to induce me at 33 weeks with my twins and it was the worst. I also had to get the airport done twice and your video made me cry because it was also during Covid. I was hospitalized for like three weeks before I had my babies, and because it was Covid, only one person could have went in with me during the whole hospital stay and they said the person I chose to stay with me during the hospital while I was waiting to get birth, had to be the person in the labor delivery ofc I choose my babies father But I cried and cried and cried because I wanted my mom there. I am now 12 weeks and can’t wait to experience it with her.

Congratulations girlfriend you did well I have one son he's 34 lol so I went through child birth a while ago and back then they didn't give you a epidural until you were literally pushing and at that point the pain is over so I didn't get an epidural plus the thought of them giving me a shot in my spine no way so it was interesting to hear your story thanks for sharing 😉🎉🎊🙌

Did you get the shivers right after delivery? I did with my first pregnancy. It just felt like the ac kicked on and was on full blast. I just kept shivering even with blankets on. But then again, I lost a lot of blood and almost had to get a blood transfusion. Super nervous for my 2nd pregnancy. I’m switching insurance, ob, and hospital this time.

25:09 I hate how you had to keep telling the nurse you were in pain and it wasn't just pressure. That is main concern with visiting the doctor or getting treatment-the lack of belief in what the patient says

How did you keep your feet and ankles from swelling? In that picture, your feet and ankles look normal. 😆 When I was pregnant both times, my feet looked like balloons, and my pregnancy size was very slim.

I honestly have no clue! I didn’t swell at all my entire pregnancy not even the typical face swelling. I’m low key nervous for the next time around because I had it too good with baby boy 😩😂

@@shekeels6429 I meant my pre-prenancy size was slim**** I'm on baby number 3 (about 4 weeks), but I'm trying to see what I can do to possibly stop it. I had swollen feet/ankles, swollen face and breasts, and melasma (where your skin gets darker on your face). I looked like a completely different person (no exaggeration, I have B4 and after pics 😆). This might sound superficial, but I want to look cute through my pregnancy this time. Lol

I’m watching this a whole year later , pregnant with my second and LITERALLY had the same experience at Balboa in San Diego 😂 I mean once that pit. was given , WW3 just happened . Come to find out (via nurse I knew) pit. being man-made it only exacerbate symptoms. CHILLEEEE I should’ve just sucked it up.

Ladies watch those doctors and nurses when you go into labor, especially us women of color, bc they will not give you the best workers during your time. When I gave birth to my 2nd child, the nurses were rude and condescending. Then they gave me a student nurse to put a catheter in, which she could not seem to get it in so she kept poking me repeatedly. Student nurse to give me a shot. It was horrible. The whole experience. I'm from the South though, so....
