The point you made about not expecting babies to sleep on their own when so many of us crave touch, cuddles, and connection really resonated with me-I’ve read that before too, and it’s so true. My son is 23 months old, and eventually, he won’t need me in this way anymore. But during this time, he’s learning that I’m close, and that builds trust. Babies come from being so deeply connected to us, yet we’re often told to let them cry it out.

You did it your way and we all go through stuff. I love her name Roux and she is pretty one. My daughter was due December 31st but came January 2nd doctor I think had a hangover and thank god his time was up. New doctor came in and boom baby came. :) 2nd time having a baby epidural was administered late and it never worked baby came in less than three hours natural. Thank you for your birth story.
