How do I verify the integrity of the file on ROG ally X I’m using game pass to play Xbox

@@orrbixx go to the Xbox app. Click on the game. Next to play and see store on the right side. Click on the three dots… , click manage, on the small new pop up window, click files and then at the bottom it says verify and repair.

You can. The Ally has built in mics but not sure how good they are. But if you’re just plugging in your headset or connecting via Bluetooth it should work. You have to select the mic you’re using under audio settings in game.

Both have just about the same processing power but I just like the bigger screen on the legion go. Ally is still great if you want something smaller, lighter, and it has better software (Armory Crate)

Is it worth buying the X or is the Z1 Extreme sufficient to play on?

@@TheStockFather17 I didn’t upgrade to the Ally X because it wasn’t enough of an upgrade in terms of performance since they both use Z1 extreme. However Ally X has better battery life and ergonomics/buttons. I’d say if you can catch a great deal on a normal Z1 extreme Ally it’s probably worth going that route or considering a legion GO at that point which also uses the Z1 extreme and is on sale right now for $499. The X at 800 just doesn’t seem justifiable if there are cheaper options with the same or similar performance. However If it’s your first handheld ever and you’re trying to go all out the Ally X seems to be one of the best right now. (If budget isn’t a concern)

@@evanisfree6304 the lower the settings and resolution, the more stable it is. Overall pretty solid. Keep in mind on such a small screen even lower settings look fairly decent and frames will be more consistent. You’ll notice performance and visuals fall shorter when playing at higher resolutions on bigger screens. So if you plan on mainly playing on the handheld itself, the game will look and feel better than when you dock it to a tv or monitor. Playing on a tv or monitor is still ok but you’ll definitely notice the dip in frames and visuals. An example of this would be call of duty running at 70-90 frames on the handheld screen itself at 900p vs something like 45-60 fps on a bigger screen at 1080p.

I just picked up an ally on black friday but im having issues with cod on the ally controller coming from pc, seeing you slide around and move easily i just cant get the grip right :( and i have big hands so i thought it would be easier for me. Getting great fps but it feels slow and clunky, would love to see your controller settings and sensitivity

Yes but the heat gets exhausted out the top, not towards your hands which is good.

In other videos and Reddit, I kept seeing that vram scale target set to 50 could possibly prevent packet loss. That’s really why. I’m going to increase it for testing and see if it really makes that much of a difference.

It’s on Xbox Gamepass for PC. If you’ve already got gamepass you can always just try it out. If you’re more likely to play it on console anyway, just stick to what you know I guess. It’s your experience and no one else’s at the end of the day. Either way thanks for watching! 🥸
