I got from my armpit to my wrist three days ago all blacked out and the swelling is wild. I had a reputable Artist of a Decade doing the work too... that elbow and lower Inside bicep are brutal! I hope my swelling goes down soon
@Joe_schylaske10 ай бұрын
I got my forearm done so far. My artist specifically didn't go all the way around my forearm. He left a small gap open so the swelling wouldn't be so bad. I still had crazy swelling in my hand. Lasted 7 days.

My Left arm from elbow right down to my finger tips is blacked out.Huge cover up too.... I started with the machine but dropped that and set about it by hand.Hand poked every bit I started it two years ago and I'm just now looking at it with a satisfied look in my eyes it's taken a lot of ink

Hey Lucas, I love your work. Im joining the blackout ARM(y) I just started blacking out my left arm. First session was 2hrs which completed my forearm. Blackouts aren't a big thing just yet so that is why people are confused. I can understand that. I personally love how blackouts looks. I do hope that some day people will catch on. I have only received but one question and it was a guy trying to recommend what I can do to fix what I have there now. He said I should turn it into jack skellington LOL. Im like no im blacking out my entire arm plus hand. Then he asked me what do I do with it. I was like "I just leave it there" not much to do with it lol! I explained to him that the work I had there before was terrible. Like really bad. And this was not only an easy way to cover it. But also something I enjoy having. Thanks for the video. Enjoy your day. If you goto my channel you can see my videos documenting the entire process.

I'm just healing the first session of a full sleeve . It has some minimilistic floral work in it. My artist kept saying "it's a lot of black" and I felt great he did too. I can't wait until it's all finished. Love black work. wish I'd done it yearsss ago. Great video.

I have my left index, part of my other left fingers and a section of my left arm blacked out, I want to just leave my pinky, other finger tips and my thumb alone and just cover my hand apart from a slither joining my pinky and extend it all up to cover my entire. Finger was excruciating and my knuckles needed several touch-ups. I love the way the fingers look!

Hey Lucas, first off, great video, this made me sub. You seem like a very genuine & down to earth guy. I do have a question regarding blackout. Im planning on getting (atleast) most of my right forearm blacked out december of next year, right after my current project is finished up. I was wondering how much the blackout hurts compared to “regular” tattooing. Im not inexperienced but not super experienced with tattoos either. The pain factor is not gonna change my mind, never will, but I was just wondering what im in for. Keep up the good videos
@lucasenigmatik51105 жыл бұрын
Xander Nussy first nice to meet you! And thank you for watching! Pain for the tattoo is about the same I’d say... it’s the healing that really sucked. Because it’s done in such large pieces at a time the healing process is worse (at least to me) than getting tattooed. Hope that helps! Cheers!

How long did it take to look all one shade? I just did mine which is geometric art/negative space with blackwork. I did it in three sessions in the same order that you did actually. I have one last pass through coming up. But I'm curious, because my most recent pass through section (my upper arm/shoulder area) seems to look a lot lighter than the rest of the blackwork sections. I haven't talked to my artist about it yet, but I will when I go to my next pass through. Just wondering how long it took for yours to look one shade. Thanks!

Don’t do it. It’ll turn grey or blueish and looks awful. That’s the issue with black work.. it isn’t actually black work and never remains such. Either own up to your pricey mistake by getting it lasered off with the best machine or own up to your sleeves and let them be.
@Toxicity5004 жыл бұрын
Mark A F Forreal, IMO, blacked out limbs are just ugly to me. Sleeves are dope but to black it out just seems unartistic and lazy to me. But that’s just me.

Many people are just *ssholes. These tattoos look great on you, especially with the colorfull hands and I love that your arms aren't 100% black, those "leftover" tattoos which are btw. great work as well, complementing the black very well. I have both of my arms done, left one is a color sleeve which I love, but I'm not 100% ok with my right arm, especially the forearm part, and I'm planning to do something similar that you have on your left arm, just do the forearm black, and leave the upperarm part as it is. Awesome work
