Hi Guys, it’s come to that sad part of anyone’s car journey…I’m selling my beautiful BMW 330d E92 Msport. I only bought this car for an initial 6 month period but I ended up keeping the car for over 3 years, because I loved it so much!
It is an incredible car, fantastic engine, super reliable and a truly timeless car. It’s come to an end of an era as I’ve now bought a newer car.

I have the 330d Touring and it's the best car I've owned.. great balance of handling, power and mpg. Also the only car I've had where random people keeping asking me if I'd be willing to sell it to them. They seem to be sought after now.

Just bought a 320d E92 after watching your videos for review purposes. Absolutely love the car. Estoril blue as well. I love my car but if this video had come out 4 week sooner id have had yours

Hi Mark how’s the 320d going so far? Been doing loads and loads of research as I’m looking to get one of them but they seem to have some common issues. Between the 320d and 325i I don’t know which one to go for. Can you tell me if you have had any major problems with your e92 320d. The 320d I’m looking at has 143k miles and the 325i has 98k miles

@@akd4157 Hiya. I've had the car well over a year now and touch wood the only thing I have spent on is a major service and auto glym car wax 😂. The car drives like nothing else out there. I'll never leave BMW now. On average town driving I'm getting 45 mpg which will go up over 60 on motor way trips. The car is a pleasure to own. Mine is on a 13 plate so last off the line. Mate if u think 130k miles is a high mileage u definitely have to drive my 220k mile 330d 😂😂😂 and is a stage 3 no issues at all and I’ve done 35k miles for 1 year i own it and I absolutely love it

sold my 335d e92 in march.had enough. turbo recondition,crankshaft pulley change,alternator change ,abs pump change ,all brake discs,battery.still love e92 shape maybe gonna get another one lol

Haha love the fact that after all those issues, you’d still consider buying another one! E92 club all the way lol. I have heard some horror stories about the turbos, however this being a single turbo (or just good luck) I’ve had no issues at all. Love this car! ❤️

330d has less reliability issues than 335d and still fun to drive with straight 6-cylinder smoothness, which is why I went that route.

I had an e46 330d with the six speed manual and a humble 204 bhp from that glorious M57, I got rid of all the Greta garbage attached to the engine, decent exhaust, quality remap and as a regular driver from London to Northern Ireland via Scotland it was perfect for the job returning well over 50+mpg. On a then pre-Orwellian M6 at 3am the speedo needle could run out of travel very easily indeed when boredom set in!. Wish I had of kept it but the dreaded tin-worm started on the arches and it became uneconomical to repair especially after I found evidence of the dreaded rear floor starting to crack. (More prevalent on M3's but still happened on a lot of the regular bigger sixes).

Shame to see it go. It was a really great car and definitely much quicker then it seems. Timeless for sure! I'm sure you'll enjoy the 640d just as much though.

Torque bands are different on diesels than petrol, but for me petrol any day, and yeah I’m a E46 330 m sport owner, although the E92 335 is taking my fancy….

Both petrol and diesel are great. Petrol smoother, diesel has that low end grunt, cause it has a lot more torque. 335 is lovely too!

@@BobbyDrives the reason why diesels have greater low end torque is cos the compression ratio is lower, hence why diesels have an overall lower Rev range, I’m a Hgv driver, and they’ve become popular for modders cos of how easily tun-able they are and usually for a lot less money than a petrol engine, every time I’ve looked into getting more power outta my current car, I have to spend way more money than what my mate did on his 530d and his 535d But now the more and more I look into the E92, it’s looking like a toss up between the 335 or the M3, I’ll see what happens nearer the time and ultimately the test drives, and which 1 has the lesser pitfalls when it comes to the problems they both suffer with

@@nateryan7041 sorry Nate for the late reply. Just make sure it’s got a good service history. Ask if the timing chain has been changed because that tends to be an expensive job. Also, go with you gut. If something isn’t sitting right, then there’s probably something wrong. I always go with my gut lol 😂 take it for a drive and listen out to make sure there isn’t any rattling or vibrations 👍🏼

Hi David, hope you’re well? To be honest, I didn’t change anything on my 330d and kept the engine stock. K&N filters are quite good. But just remember to get one with a housing and not one which doesn’t have a case around it, otherwise it’ll just suck the hot air from the engine bay and you won’t get an increase in power. Better to have a filter which is in a case and not exposed. Hope that helps! 👍🏼

I totally agree! However when I changed my number plate to a private one, it became Ulez compliant for about 6 months. Must have been a glitch in the system 😂

@@BobbyDrives getting one Saturday either 335d or 330d coupe 2012 for 6k full service such a bargain daily and I don’t need ulez free car both cars same mileage both black both have sunroofs full service I think I’m going for 335d

No, gut and map them out especially if you do mainly urban driving in a modern diesel.

That was a great example of a LCI 330D. It just looked better than normal E92's!
