An easier way us to just get a trim tool and essentially unclip the covers from the rear, this is the best method If you don’t plan on using the covers again. It takes about 45 seconds each side and you don’t need to worry about cracking the glass. Beautiful car I’m getting the OG DCTA M2 shortly but currently driving the F30

Another great video Joe, I have always valued your opinion hence why I ended up with the M140i Shadow edition, which I still love like I did when I drove it from the dealer on collection day. I had a chuckle when you mentioned Jack from Autoid, when I last saw him at his business premises I mentioned to him that I first saw him in one of your videos a few years ago when he was selling wing mirror caps from the back of his car, I thought " dodgy geezer" but nothing could have been further from the truth!! Looking forward to your next video, stay safe!

The reason the muffler drops down so low is because it plays a very specific role in the aerodynamics of the car. It manages the air in a way similar to a diffuser. BMW most definitely did not put this muffler design together quickly to pass emissions regulations.

In the 80s and 90s, wing mirrors were black. Only top trims would get painted mirrors (and bumpers), matching the body-color. It is interesting to see that we went back to differentiating mirror colors as a sign of improvement for our cars. Times have changed. Nothing new in this video for "older subscribers", yet it is always a pleasure to watch. It is a great video, as usual! How tall is Joe by the way? I can't get the information anywhere 😂.

Interesting that you have not mapped the ecu. The Lichfield’s tune alone for just over £700 takes the car to 520bhp and 520 ish torque.
@JoeAchilles14 жыл бұрын
Just over 400bhp is enough for a manual rwd car in the UK. The min you touch the ECU you will lose the entire BMW warranty nowadays, that doesn't excite me with common crank hub bearing failure.
@wheelsandwatches4 жыл бұрын

Good vid Joe. Last year I was debating between the BMW M2 Comp and a Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio. Both great cars in different ways. I went with the Alfa, as imo, it is a superior car in terms of performance and handling (even with four doors). Loved the M2 though, and would've been my second choice out of all mid-size to coupe performance cars. I do hope the M2 does get a redesign of the rear end, and a vastly updated interior in the next year or two that the new BMW's are getting. I get that this car is almost like a throwback - I had a 2004 bmw m3 coupe back in the day. But I could not in my mind justify spending $70k for a bmw m2 comp. That much money can get you a great selection of performance sedans and coupes (especially low mileage used ones). I did consider the f80 m3, but was extremely disappointed after driving it. I feel that the f-series really lost the purpose of the m3. That another topic for a different day.

Hey Joe, great vid. I’m looking into getting an M2 comp in the coming months. Partner is really pushing me into an M3 because of the 4 doors.
