My BMW R1200GSA2017 engine many noise

Welcome to the club. This is fundamentally a great engine regarding power & torque but it is very crude in operation in respect to noise, internal knocking & clanking, and tapping etc from the cylinder heads, particularly from the rhs. Surely BMW could do better than this but apparently not and they do not seem particularly interested in addressing the concerns of many owners. Seems the standard comment is they all do this so get over it. It might end up that i just get over owning a BMW and go to another brand.

I got over it. After a bit more than a year. This one sounds like shite as well

I rode 3 before I finally got one, one was like a Swiss watch (but very expensive) the other 2 sounded like a tractor, the one I bought sound pretty agricultural but I wear earplugs and have a loud exhaust so half the time I don't hear it, full bmw service history too, but you are right for the money you pay it should be silent.

It sounds like shit. Just as mine did. I find it to be a scandal and it ruined my appreciation of the bike completely
