Highly intelligent dogs with intense gaze and concentration. We had a collie cross for 15=years. He had a vocabulary of at least 20 words. So intelligent. When we went walking as a family he would always round us up if one person diverged slightly. 💕💕

My girl Murphy gave the exact same stare while I was walking thru the animal rescue where we got her. Her stare was relentless and that’s why I asked to visit with her. She was about 6 months old and had just been spayed when we got her. There were already 5 applications on her the day we visited, but when the staff saw how we bonded, she was ours. She was truly my canine soulmate and will forever be in my heart! Border Collies are the absolute best!

Are you kidding me? I lovingly occupy my friend's Aussie and I want an Aussie fro myself..... but can't get any work done cuz the damned adorable thing puts her chin on my leg and looks up at me....even if we just came back from the trails. These pups can make your life amazing and ruin your career at the same time....and you'll love them.

My parents have a border collie mix and he does this all the time. He is also very vocal. Whenever he lies down he sighs like he was working in the field all day long. Absolutely the best dog ever

I remember when we went on holiday and dropped our collies off at a farm for the first time, as soon as we opened the boot of the car, they jumped out, over the fence and started rounding up the sheep without any hesitation or training, took us ages to get them back so we could actually hand them over properly Farmer wasnt even annoyed, just found it funny, they weren't aggressive, just went into full collie mode. Farmer did not own collies as farm was quite small

My border collie does the same thing. Those brown eyes. Don't move. Don't blink. But in my opinion she is just staring at the person she loves. She has cured a lot of people who are scared of dogs 🐕 over the years because she is so gentle

I have a Border Collie,Labrador mix . LOVE that critter, she’s such a joy to be around, but she inherited that stare. I’m always wondering what she is trying to say. Extremely intelligent, full of love for anyone. Very polite, observes everything and retains all observations. Got the size of a large lab tho, a tad more than 100 pounds of absolute joy.

I know that stare! Its a border collie stare! It's read my mind you can do it! So I ask him, What do you want? Then he will show me. Sometimes he will lead me to the door. Sometimes he wants a snack. Or a job. Carry my water bottle to the bedroom or anything else to carry for me. Best dog ever!
