I am not doing drugs or doing any illegal activity but these people want to morph you into a slave puppet and won't let you to be yourself. relationships like these are too common honestly, but I've been through a very similar relationship with my recent ex-boyfriend and I feel the pain and all the emotions she felt. I feel sorry for her. no one should ever have to go through that. remember girls AND guys: you don't need to be in a toxic/controlling relationship like that. if you know someone isn't good for you and/or is making you question yourself, do the right thing and end the relationship. it might be hard, but it's worth it in the long run
@quoofle4 жыл бұрын
Damn, videos like these really hit me now that I've been into three abusive relationships back-to-back. Especially when the narrarator says "its not your fault". Regardless of whether this is real or not, its a good message. It's not your fault and you shouldn't put up with abusive relationships. You deserve better. I am in another relationship now, and I am so lucky to have found such an amazing guy. He treats me right and never abuses me or hurts me. I was friends with him throughout the lengths of the last two abusive relationships. I know now that I should have been with him the entire time. He never would have broken me the way that those last two relationships did. The first one damaged me, but didn't break me. The last two did. But I'm in a better place and I'm healing. If this message finds anyone in a bad relationship, just know that you can get out of it. I was able to get out of my three toxic relationships, you can too.

I'm skinny with hardly a chest, my partner still wants me to cover up and not wear make up or shorts, he would say "who are you trying to impress?" And eventually he'll bring me down about my looks, so I won't wear nice clothes. Its really knocked my confidence and I feel like he's not interested in my body anymore. Its horrible, I had to move away for a bit because of the toxic verbal abuse, also I keep causing problems by assuming he's cheating on me, but thats probably because how the way he's been treating me. Maybe he just doesn't want to lose me thats why he acts like this? He's had terrible girlfriends in the past and neither of his parents wanted him. I'm the first girl that wants him and wants to stay with him forever (I would call myself a woman, but lately I feel like I'm just insecure depressed girl). He needs to understand the way he hides things and him leaving me to hang out with dodgy people and people making up rumours about him those times I wasn't with him... of course I'm going to assume the worst, but knocking my confidence down and getting extremely angry at me isn't going to work, it just breaks my trust and makes me depressed.

I used to date a guy almost like him. At the beginning he was nice but with time he started to change wanted me to dress the way he liked and act how he wanted me to act, he even took me to his mom so she could do my hair the way he wanted (no questions asked). He even try to control how did I go out and my whereabouts. I didn't notice anything as I was head over heels for him. But one day the public transportation didn't allow any student on the bus as some of them were misbehaving I have to walk home under the rain. I was mad and wet and for my surprise he was outside of my house yelling at me that were was I that he spend an hour waiting for me under the rain (he never told me that he was going to visit me). And that was the last straw, I exploded and started yelling back at him and at that moment I realized that this relationship was going to work so I decided to break up with him at that moment. If you are in this kind of relationship that the other person wants you to change who you are to fit that person is not worth it.

Don’t ever change yourself to get someone to like you.
