Erika, thanks for the vid that’s targeted towards the fellas. I purchased the FOREO Luna 3 for men, I totally wished I had purchased the Luna 3 “for all” instead. Being that I’m new to skin care treatment the massage feature I could do without,really no interest nor time, I would have preferred the dual cleaning sides the Luna 3 offers. There also is a difference between available features with these devices. The Luna 3 for men only allows you to select the intensity cleansing level desired,whereas the Luna 3 for all allows you to select the intensity level as well as desired facial cleaning time. Overall the Luna 3 for men is cool, but for 40 bucks less I could’ve just gotten the Luna 3 with better features.

Hi Erica, just a quick question. I don’t really have a beard and planning to buy a foreo. Do you reckon to buy a Luna mini3 or Luna 3 men? You’ve mentioned the Luna 3 men have different bristles. And mini 3 got the glow function. My main purpose is to cleanse and apply moisture. Which one should I choose ?

I still vote for Luna mini 3. It’s really all you’ll need ☺️ but if you find one is cheaper over the other, go with that one. The bristles are all really nice and soft silicone. You’ll enjoy the cleanse of either! Hope that helps 👌🏻😁

I'm happy to share my personal experience with you and your followers I'm a young man who purchased the 'Foreo Luna 3 for Men' I have combine skin with large pores in the T-Zone and was looking for something to keep the pores clear of sebum Can't say it is really worth it for me either... or that i can see any difference to my hand cleansing method Which is a shame because it was super expensive (165 bucks on sale back then) I also always had to foam and apply the cleanser to my entire face with my hands because the Foreo wouldn't do so It's more or less just for massaging now and i regret buying it My advice would be, not to be afraid to ask someone who has a Foreo, if you can try it first Even if it's branded for the opposite gender or not exactly your skin type And it's made of silicone, so it's hygenic and can easily be cleaned/used by multiple people Give it a shot but don't spend too much money on something you're unsure of and can't return after usage

My boyfriend ended up really liking the foreo Luna mini 3 (which is unisex) and I noticed his skin was so much softer after consistent use! His nose area was rough from blackheads and this really evened out the texture. I’ve been using Foreo cleansing devices for years and I feel like I notice when I do a full 60 second cleanse with my device vs just washing with my hands! Also for your desire to help with sebum. My boyfriend has combination skin too and gets really oily in his t-zone and I’ve been incorporating a niacinamide serum into his routine and it’s drastically reduced his oil production making his nose less blackhead prone! @@ErikaBeck Sure! I'd love to hear about his full routine Sounds like the physical exfoliation really helped smooth his nose. My nose was never rough to begin with, it's really just overloaded with big pores and i experimented for years now... I use a 0.5% salicylic acid cleanser from COSRX It's the only one i tried that doesn't give me redness for hours to follow, so i can use it in the morning as well Whenever i use anything afterwards however, it's like my pores clog up from it, no matter what it was, that claimed to 'minimize pores' I tried most of the well-known stuff like Cerave Resurfacing Serum or Paulas Choice BHA Exfoliate. I also do clay masks once a week. I have plenty of stuff that contains Niacinamide as well but i'm interested in what specific formula helped your bf. I'm also acne prone although i'm in my late twenties but not half as bad as it was as a teen I've seen dermatologists but they were FAR from helping me with their suggestions: microneedling and CO2 laser treatment cost a fortune and caused fine but noticable scars

@@Tales0fSymphonia I'm still trying to curate a full routine for him but so far this is what we've tried. So he's been cleansing with the First Aid Beauty cleanser and and his Foreo in the evenings. However, I think I'll even get him started with a gentler cleanse (non foaming) once that one is finished, just to remove any dirt or sunscreen he's wearing at the end of the day. Then he uses the niacinamide serum from the Inkey List and tops it with his moisturizer which we switch between one from First Aid Beauty and the peptide one from the Inkey List. Twice a week I've been slowly incorporating salicylic acid in the evenings as an exfoliation step. I ordered the Corsrx BHA one, so I'm waiting for that to come in but the Paula's choice one is good also and his skin likes it. I swear by pimple patches and use the Cosrx ones to curb any touching or dirt on incoming/developing pimples he has. In the mornings it's just a simple cleanse, moisturize if his skin is a little drier and then sunscreen. You might just be over exfoliating your face and irritating it. If you have exfoliating ingredients in your cleanser and again in your serum step, it may just be too much and your skin cant keep up, I know I personally overdid it with salicylic acid and I developed the worst acne of my life. When i toned it down and used it like once or twice a week, my skin was able to handle it a lot better. Also I would say don't mix niacinamide and salicylic acid at the same time. Alternate them night/morning or day to day or you can apply your acid first and then wait 30 minutes to apply the niacinamide.

@@ErikaBeck Yeah i wish i had known about pimple patches in my teens, if they existed back then idk. I also use the COSRX ones even though i had a brand that sticked even better but i use too many and COSRX is way cheaper. I was wondering as well if i overkill my skin with products but almost every product says "use once or twice daily" which may be just so we need to restock faster. It's also interesting to hear of a routine as simple as your boyfriends. Because almost every beauty blogger is all about: Cleansing or even double cleansing and then hundreds of serums between toner and moisturizer because you GOT TO have hyaluronic acid, naicinamide, peptides, vitamin C, retinol and god knows what else covered SOMEHOW. It can get overwhelming really easily... For now, i'll cut down to cleansing once a day and maybe just a rice water toner and the lightest niacinamide serum i've got in the evening. Also, i always assumed foaming already was the gentlest form of cleanser there is. May be a misconception on my part because foam is just so light. Thanks again, Erika!
