I babysat my friend when he tried shrooms for the first time. He thought he lost his feet but wasn’t really concerned about it (I told him we’d find them later and he just nodded) and he colored in a coloring book while eating an entire family sized bag of pretzels like a toddler. Then he proceeded to throw up a LOT and spent the night in the tub occasionally humming Coldplay to himself. It was quite an experience and I was sober the whole time

I’ve done shrooms once in my life and I remember vividly how loud my husbands orange basketball shorts were. Like they literally sounded like the circus/carnival song anytime I looked at them. They were ruining my chill vibe bc they were so loud, that fucking doot dada doot sound. This was over 13 years ago and the entire experience is still fresh in my mind. I can’t even imagine how loud your painting would’ve been to me lol but I love it.

I think spray painting is a great way for an artist to learn and practice arm movement instead of having a bad habit of just using the fingers or the wrist to draw curves which is very limiting. Another sweet thing about spray painting is that it forces you to step back from your work to see the entire composition. That's another bad habit artists commonly have-never stepping back from the work.

There’s something so beautiful and controlled about making art on shrooms, I naturally have a pretty shaky hand and I’m not a very good artist when sober but when I take shrooms it’s like I understand every little line I want to do and I can execute it perfectly. Freshman year in college started doing shrooms and one night, my friends and I were standing in a circle in the middle of our dorm room laughing so hard about nothing all staring at each other until our stomachs hurt too much and we were crying laughing on the ground. And then we went to the dorm building’s basement and the cement floor looked like an ocean and we ‘swam’ in it. Meaning laid in that dirty ass ground doing breath strokes. And then the group of us huddled in our group of four, fast walked to our dining hall trying to buy snacks from the store and we were darting through the isles so fast with our pupils huuuge and we swore we were acting fine but I’m sure we weren’t. LMAO but rip lizzy that was the best trip I ever had and I’m glad I got to spend it with you. Also there was no trip sitter.
