Nice 110 collection Pete. The 110's are are probably the most copied knife by other manufacturers so that tells you of it's pervasiveness. I was looking just yesterday at the newest 110 & 112 with the drop point blade like you have and was thinking I should pick up a Ranger. I'd like to see your other Buck knives too buddy. Take care.

At my first duty station all the other guys in my platoon had buck 110s and 1 of the old timers told me in the field a knife is your life. So I ran to the PX and bought one. It served me well for a few years and when I lost it I got a 110 slim pro to replace it. I might have to get a drop point version.
@jerseyknifeguy6382 Жыл бұрын
Yes I would definitely give it a try you don’t want to let this one go it’s a great knife it’s so much different using it for cutting task…….. and that was a cool story thanks so much and stay well 😊

Beautiful blades as always Pete. I was used to the drop point blades as I had "baby" Bucks (55, Esquire, etc.) with drop points before I ever got a 110. I like clip points but Bucks 110 can be a little "severe." Thanks for sharing!
@jerseyknifeguy6382 Жыл бұрын
Hey what’s gone on Ed glad to hear from you…… it all comes down to what your going to do with the knife…. If your going to be using that tip a lot then without a question you have to go with the drop point if your doing more precise work than it’s the clip point thanks Ed stay well buddy 😊

Very nice collection of 110 drop points. You need to add the nickel silver / ebony 112 to your collection. I agree that they look even better in hand, the pictures don't do them justice. I did manage to score the Danny Peretti drop point and the June 2021 BOTM OD G10 Drop point. You are spot on about the Danny Peretti 110 awesomeness. The Burlap and the 5160 set it apart. My infatuation with the 110 started in 1974. It took me a while to get one - late 70s model was my first, and it didn't have the nicer eased edges of the current 110s. Once I discovered the improvements and the variety of 110s available I've bought a bunch more of them including a custom - in Elk of course. Without a doubt, my favorite knife is a 110.

Those drop point 110's are killer, especially the one with elk covers. A drop point belongs on that knife. Buck should make more of them then they do clip points. I've only got one 110. It's a bit older. I bought it back in the early 80's. It was not my first knife but it was my first "good" knife.

Hey Ken I’m not trying to change your mind but you really need to try a drop point Buck…. It’s a must you put it on your list…… I learning what you like and this knife is all you…… thanks buddy I know it all takes time but the difference is day and night with the clip point and drop point!!!! Thanks so much Ken stay well out there talk to you soon 😊

Wow 😍😎 Thanks for showing these beauties. My 110 is the regular clip point version and I really enjoy it. However I’ve always preferred the look of the drop point, I’ve got a bit of thing by for drop points. Think it comes from feeling they are more sturdy and less prone to damage. You’ve got some great pieces there with beautiful covers. I also love the look of that burlap and guess it provides a bit of traction when you’re doing stuff. Thanks again Pete, Best wishes Sean
