I stuffed useful things between cans. Trash bags, utensils, etc. You can fit quite a variety of items in that way. All my food go-buckets have a can opener each, mostly P-38s and P-51s, but not all. I try to avoid pop-top cans. Next time, place those oil packets in Ziploc freezer bags, upright. Not foolproof, but more secure.

If bug out is happening you might get instant rice ( less cooking) and instead of box ziplock or mylar bag with instructions less water less cook time, also take things out of boxes take up more room, ziplock with instructions and exp date. I try to stay from plastic , 2 of us titanium sporks with hand sanitizer and wipes . Don't forget pets !! LOVE your videos GREAT INFO Stay prepared !!!!

Agree on the instant rice. I pack those little 'boil-in-bag' packs of rice, so much easier to prepare. I also haven't seen those small bags of cereal. Have a few of the little single-serving cups of cereal in my pack...honestly more for snacking on than eating with milk. They do take up more room, but the cup could come in handy. Have a vac sealer, so a lot of my things are removed from the box and sealed, which reduces the bulk somewhat.

I do something like that...But i make a daily meal plan... breakfast, lunch and dinner all in the same bucket...Same concept... but maybe you can only grab one...

I have stockpiled three different freeze dried food companies food. Plus dehydrated, store canned and home canned foods. Also have butt loads of garden seeds and a hand dug well with a hand pump in it.

I keep something like that at work. A little bit of everything, just add hot water and heat and serve type of food.

I put together a single bucket with instant food and drink mixes. I used freeze dried meals that can be prepared and eaten out of their pouches, thus it's lighter and easy for me to carry

There's a local Asian restaurant who always have those 5 gal buckets that held soy sauce. Most of the time, the owners/managers are just giving them away. All that is needed are lids.

There's a Chinese buffet in my area that sells buckets for 99 cents. I wasn't the only person who bought one.

Buckets are a good idea , I have about a weeks worth of non-cooking food in my bugout bag , and I have a gym bag with about a month of non cook and easy cook food , lots of trail bars also

Already got the buckets loaded fixing to buy a patriots solar gen with solar panels if you have any suggestions please about solar gens ! This one kit is 3,300 bucks for a 2000 watt unit I was told they were made by lion company and they are one of the better quality brands

I would stay with names like Ecoflow or Bluetti, Both are well known and good quality brands, I have not had a chance to mess with the patriots one but that sounds pretty expensive for that.

Great video George. But I have one stupid question. Where do you get the lids for the buckets from. I have a lot of buckets but no lids. As a side note. I just received my Rhino Rescue pak. Man I’m very happy with this purchase. I have added a few items to it, and can probably add more. I swear if we ever cross paths I think we will spend hours trading thoughts and ideas. Great info; now that the "covert 90" (damn you, KZbin algorithm) is mostly behind us I can run back down across the now-open border and stock up. Good to see the items you get that we can't in the frozen tundra up here. And I love using buckets; they are useful prep tools themselves, even as benign things like cuttings boards and seating. I still think your missing the number one&two bucket… 💩 the toilet bucket, should have toilet paper,bags to line bucket , kitty litter or sawdust, a separate containers to pee in, wipes , soap ,spray bottle… if possible keep solids & liquids separate & it won’t become a toxic brew. If your eating your going to need to go! ✌️🤟🤙
