@@The73Garage yeah I love them! The company I used to work for had a 2003 F450 with a 7.3 and I loved it. I just bought myself a 2000 F550 with a 7.3 with only 210,000 miles. I love it, but I have to figure out this oil leak that I have.

What do you think of the new Speed of Air Pistons? Have you considered using them in this build?

I’d have a hard time putting a stock cam back in. I rode in a 7.3 with an RCD cam and was very impressed on just a daily 400-450whp tune. Could definitely tell it’s breathing better. Never have heard been around a Colt cam.

They are great when done correctly! I just didn’t want to mess with changing the valve train geometry too much and risk stressing the components.
