I had multiple restaurants and an investor sued to take control of the company. It was an LLC. The LLC was sued and I was personally sued and so are my partners. I could not afford lawyers after a point. So I lost. LLC didn’t do crap in protecting me. It’s insane how much money goes to lawyers in business. It’s such a scam. I did buy a book on how to represent yourself in court so if this ever happens again. I spent countless money in the past with lawyers. The system has to change.
