In california, the sales tax is dependent upon where the car is registered. It could be 7.25% up to around 12%. Then you still have to add the registration fees on top of that so if you take roughly 10% of the msrp, thats what you will pay in taxes and fees. I used to sell cars out here in cali

I'm an old guy so I remember the C4 ZR-1 coming out. True or not? I'm not sure. My Brother-In-Law was a Chevrolet salesman. He said that the owner of a Napa winery did a blind bid of $100,000+ and got the ZR-1. So even then there was mark up, and given inflation and considering that was a 1990, 32 years ago, that was a hell of a car. I owned a 1991 ZR-1 for a while. I loved it. It became hard to smog in CA so I got a CTS-V. Fun too. I would love a new C8 Z06. Thanks for the video!
